Isn't this the general forums, while what I posted may not exactly relate to STO it does share a lot of the similarities with the storyline we are playing right now. It is very possible that STO and Timelines could be connected in some way later on.

With the First Contact giveaway weekend going on now...cryptic just provided to perfect way to do a giveaway of which I'm hoping for, instead of a new item every day they could do a new item every 48hrs from Thursday to Monday, which makes it 3 items per week for 5 weeks.

The giveaways would just be one part of the 50th celebration...they lead up to whatever plans they have in place for the celebration.

The giveaways don't all have to be ships, it could uniforms, boffs, doffs, gear...a mixture of things to keep fun. Besides if they do give ships away I would think nothing more than T5 that we would have to pay to upgrade or T1-T4

With all of that why couldn't the KDF sci ship get 4 sci consoles as opposed to 3, considering everthing else stated

How come the KDF sci flagship only has 3sci consoles but claims to have more sci seats and universal seats and sci consoles than the eng and tac???

Agreed...would be nice if it were a limited time event. I think they'd probably make more money this way. Alas we can only hope.

The D'Khellra is the best designed Rom ship...if only the other the ships felt and looked as complete as it does.

Hopefully if they do this again it won't just be for a fed ship...they should have different categories for the different races/factions.

Actually you may have a good point and added to it something else I was thinking of, outside the story arcs STO doesn't hvae a quest system other than visiting some random planet and doing the patrol. What if they added question to the game, this would give them the opportunity to develop more content for the lesser races…

Science is involved in everything we do...it's no different for the kdf...science and technology is used to develop new weapons...ships...armor. You cannot build an empire on the blood of your enemies alone...even reverse engineering alien technology requires science.

More options is always a good thing...I would also love if the other random encounters in sector space gave the option of warping in...most times I see one and by the time I get there it's almost over...

I love this idea...Maybe they could incorporate it into their episode rerun event that they do...and maybe throw in the omega particle event again as well.

Would be nice if we got some new Klingon designs...I feel like they get the shaft...the federation gets a whole lot more ships and specials...while the ship packs are good...sometimes a single special ship works really nice.

I think once you get the device and the game says you are now a delta recruit...which happens early in the tutorial...

I would like to add game crashing while trying to complete the second Breen mission, sometimes I'm allowed to progress until the final fight then the game crashes, other times the game crashes as soon as the ground map loads.

This is my experience as well...and just recently items not sold on the exchange that were returned to me were blank squares no images or item names, its hard to keep track of everything that no longer has an image but is occupying an inventory space.
