I like the idea of being able to improve and customise ships. I very much like the idea of being able to customise more on the inside and maybe even for pre made missions command from your own bridge would be cool

Same here, I am unable to add a Comm badge, change my rank pins and my legs disappear as well. I have logged it as a bug.
