As noted already, there's still a 10 year window between when Picardshow is supposed to happen and STO. So A) the show could not influence anything major in STO at all; or B) it will spawn another alternate timeline like (I suppose and hope) AoD will in the fall.
Well, this is more one-sided than I expected. That said I'd like to distance myself from those insulting others on the basis of liking a certain TV show (as much as I personally hate that show). It is a sad world though, with people liking TRIBBLE, new Star Wars, no Stargate shows on the air. Well, let's hope for the…
Well, I suppose this leads to the close future stability of the game/Trek franchise overall. But TRIBBLE if I'm supposed to like that monstrosity of TRIBBLE...
Wel that's a problem. That means they won't care enough to try and fix it (which itself would be apparently more difficult with it being more random). Now I gotta pray there's no chain parts exclusive to the security DH list.
You'll note that ltminns mentioned just above my post he couldn't apply a spec point. I was pointing out I don't have that particular issue, despite my skills being invalid as well.
It's interesting I spent spec points on the Miracle Worker spec just fine even though my skills were invalid already. In effect, I have no reason to actually respec at all.
Oh please, fix this for good already. It was fine before you released "Home". After that, "Terminal Expanse" isn't showing up in the episode list for my Vanguard Jem'Hadar, thus it cannot be replayed. And I get calls from a romulan temporal agent...
Funnily enough this was briefly fixed for me by the patch BEFORE mission Home was released. Along with the mission Terminal Expanse not showing up in the mission journal. When they released Home, they unfixed all that and my Fed-aligned vanguard Jem'Hadar gets those Kail hails and can't replay Terminal Expanse.
Make sure video and voiceover options are set way higher than music etc. In those "introductory" cut scenes, spoken word is almost impossible to hear for me even though it's set to max. On the other hand I had to set everything else to like 15-20% because it was bloody loud. It's the same thing with the introduction to the…
Oh my, apologies, forgot to incude that it is the Vanguard FED-allied Jem'Hadar. Yup, same thing still happening for (apparently only) Vanguard Jem'Hadar.
Well dammit, after the latest patch, this bug is back up for my FED-allied Vanguard Jem'Hadar. That is, after playing through Home and even unlocking all the other episodes alltogether. So once more, Terminal Expanse is not replayable and I'm again getting calls from the romulan temporal agent...
At the same time I have to admit that even without the fanciest traits, doffs and equipment, these JH Vanguard ships (well, 3 of them, the carrier is awful) easily outperform all my other builds when it comes to damage. So this kinda looks like a necessary balancing move to make them glass cannons instead. I'd however love…
This has been fixed for me. My Jem'Hadar now sees Terminal Expanse in the mission journal (so can replay if needed) and no longer gets hails from Romulan temporal agents.
Good point about warp core breaches. That is what keeps getting me killed in my Vanguard ships. I had to change my playstyle to avoid getting point blank like I usually do and always bring high resists/immunities.
It gets so confusing that I basically stopped caring and thinking about the STO timeline at all. Regardless of that, some of the changes are for the better, some are for the worse. For instance, I love the character of Garak, but there's a lot of spots where he absolutely doesn't fit in the game.
Thanks for that. Still, I believe this bug where it doesn't show up in the episode tab is connected to the romulan temporal agent (of all contacts) hailing on loading in, for some reason. This whole temporal arc is overall so buggy on even Romulan chars... EDIT: One thing though, it's now impossible to replay for Jem'hadar.
Yup, just gotten to the very same situation, pretty darn annoying, gotta say... And that's very sad, otherwise I've been very impressed with what they came up for that mission.
I believe the largest sale on packs was 30% during one or two of their daily flash sales. Assuming this pack will be 16k Zen like the other expansion packs, it's almost on 20% sale right now. That's good enough for a purchase (not counting the fact I don't want to lose time with a non-Vanguard Jem'hadar character). Other…
