I am concerned about the complete removal of in-combat regeneration in ground. Instead of completely removing it, could we have it like in space? Which I believe is a percentage of full (out-of-combat) regen.
Nice feature, but having to re-customize will keep me from using it. Come on, if you can store loadouts and earned ship mastery, store ship customization too.
While I'm grateful for the change, I think it's a little too late, and considering the XP curve after 50, there will still be gaps to be filled with patrols -- one of the things some folks complain about. For this change to come around the best way possible in my opinion, the whole XP curve issue would also have to be…
The Admiralty System starts from Level 52. If anything, new players will have an advantage of knowing about the system beforehand as opposed to old players that already dismissed their old ships.
Surprisingly, yes (but they will replace the Terran Shoulder Pads). All Terran Armor pieces seem to be available in Off-Duty. Which seems WAY too good to be true.
Took some shots at the armor with different color scheme here. This is the BEST set yet. Mostly because it's available in Uniform category! Or, it's NOT a category of its own like the other armors. I seriously hope this sets a precedent for future sets and hopefully enables the other sets to follow suit in the future.…
Emphasis mine. I'd say "in addition to" instead, since being its own category allows mix-matching with the Iconian Reputation Armor pieces, and removing that category would remove that feature as well. Unless, of course, such pieces were to be made available in the Uniform category (namely: the Iconian Armor bracers and…
A very minor problem in the new Iconian Vest set, the boots are named "Iconian Boots" instead of "Boots Iconian", not following the recent asset reorganization.
Oddly, Iconian Vest pieces are unlocked in Off-Duty, but not in Uniform. Either being available in Off-Duty is an error, of them not being available in Uniform is a oversight. As a side note, within the Iconian Vest category, some pieces of the Iconian Reputation Armor (if you unlocked it) can be used, like the bracers and…
I agree with you but I don't think they are seeing that. Considering that this cycle has been going for so long, I don't think it will ever end. So I just tend to accept what they throw at me these days, without throwing my money back at them (like I used to).
Those numbers don't look high enough to say "broken" to me. Given the amount of shield-pen and drain shenanigans these days, it's good to see such a boost.
Because spec points are handled like full level rewards. It seems that Cryptic does not want us using these spec points to earn levels before 60. This can be confirmed by the "Comeback Email" that is being sent to inactive members. Those 10 spec points gifted can be used before 60, and they can be used to level your…
Looks like the module screenshot was taken in space. It deals about ~200 kinetic damage in ground. And as suspected, its damage seems to be increased by buffs like Ambush.
I really hope it's a display error, and if that's the case, they should replace the picture in the news article, as it would confuse players in different ways.
Wow. That module is a sure kill to anyone in PvP. At least, 8s is plenty of time to run away. Oh, wait, you have things like Site-to-Site Ensnare to ensure a kill. I wonder: - if captains can use their buffs (especially tactical captains) before summoning the entity (or while it's exploding) to increase the damage - if…
Could you be more specific? Because I keep seeing logs of torpedoes (from other players) dealing insane amounts of damage, which makes me think they're fine.
If it's not DOFFing, then what is it? For one thing, I always wanted to command a number of ships at once during missions, with a button to quickly switch between ships pretty much like other games where you control multiple characters. (GTA V, Dragon Age, The Lost Vikings, etc.)
