Im thinking of doing a cannon build on a carrier (narcine) will have consoles to increase the turn rate, should I stick a torp in there too or just go all cannons and turrets? Im going to give disruptors a go so if I go torp, which one is best for the set bonus?
Ah ok, was gonna go with rep weapons as i traded in my dilithium claims so jave aload of rep dilithium to use and hope my pets can deal damage while I manourve into position, the narcine is quite a fast ship for me as I have been used to flying cruisers. i find escorts a bit squishy
That was what i was referring too, thinking of giving cannons a go, what is the lowest recommend turn rate for running cannons on a ship? I was thinking of puttimg cannons and turrets on my narcine as some of the set consoles also increase turn rate from the base turn rate of 9
Ah that looks good, and with the terran ones it should work well, I am not fussy when it comes to colours, makes it easier to tell what is firing in some instances, faux rainbow looks cool imo while still having the dps
I've heard the dhc from the rep is considerer one of the best weapons in the game, how to cannons compare to beams now that dropoff has changed and are there any consoles (beside the vulnerability locators) that enhance disruptor damage?
It would be nice to play with the other factions ships, I joined the game when you needed a level 10 fed before you unlocked Kdf so all my time, effort and money has basically gone into my fed character meaning I have less desire to play the other two
It is frustrating them being so slow, as well as dps i use mine to take up alot of the enemy fire too as im squishy so i tend to die when i get to the combat and they arent there
Im currently planning a phaser build for a dreadnought tank and another 360 degree omni will mean I can have dbb instead of beams so can increase dps aswell as tank
My favourite is the one Im currently flying which is the narcine dreadnought, it packs a punch, but looks beautiful with the sleek lines and well mobulai minions, what more can i say?
Cannon distance dropoff has changed since the akill revamp so are more on par with beams, escorts generally to better dps over and with cannons have awesome spike damage
The cutscenes are ok, i did the FE replay and one of my boffs is carrying the balloon thing, it was funny in the cutscene with the assasin in the chair to see balloon bops floating around
I replayed a step between the stars and found the ground combat relatively easy, the space part while time consuming, wasnt hugely difficult, I think I died once
I personally prefer my t5u narcine over my t6 sarr theln carrier, extra weapon slot, decent console layout, i think the pets are better, it can deal more damage and its not as squishy

Would it be worth getting the terran 3 piece for my tac boff, thinking of making them melee with a healer science and two fabrication engineers, with me that makes 3 in the group
Only ran cca, didnt get hit so can't comment on how squishy I am now to how i was before, but as an engy carrier captain, i can say my pets are hitting harder and lasting longer
