But than it wouldn't get the gas mileage of the Honda Civic. Or be as safe. Or have all the technology and convenience. Look at a tank from 1950 and compare it to a modern…

Which means the T5 (freely upgraded to T5U) ships are also available for all of your captains by default. Thanks. I never knew that…
  • I hated having to unlock each ship for my other alts but, after awhile, it gave me something to do & a reason to play my Jemmie. Haven’t unlocked the Cardi’s yet. Would’ve been nice if the carrier had fighter wings to go with wingmen though.
  • > @davefenestrator said: > For ships it would have to take a really really long time to earn one since you can get all the doffs you want for free through recruitment and the fleet starbase. Not sure about earning taters, are they fries or tots? ;) It should’ve read “rare ship equipment and consoles” instead of ships. Even…

Thanks Som. Always appreciate the information. It just bugs me that if it has been a problem how come…
  • Someone explain the Alliance to me. Isn’t/wasn’t it only for specific events that called for a response that didn’t necessarily need to go through Starfleet politics but to answer a direct threat that needed a swift military reaponse from both Starfleet and those that either weren’t members and/or was in the immediate…
  • I’m intrigued by this. I could get my Vengeance as well as the other ships & still grind out the event for more goodies. The possibilities are endless. Damn you Cryptic for coming after me with a offer I may not be able to refuse!

  • What is meant as being a “Klingon”? We’ve seen, from everything Iteration of Star Trek, there’s different versions and meanings of Klingon. Why don’t they write better stories on that?
  • For me personally, I’m boycotting everything disco related from here on out. Only doing the events to get my Vengeance from this point further. May not amount to a hill of beans but, for me, I know I’m not missing out on anything great so I’ll count that as a win.

As with everything else I’ve seen and heard from Cryptic, I don’t buy that logic for a second. But, for arguments sake, if they did…

But more effort could have been done to give her (and L'Rell) a proper role, instead of…
  • Considering that the only people that complain on forums are only 2% of the player base, then why be pressed? Don’t the other 98% love it? I’m sure you’ve been in contact with them to get their assessment on it so why bother about the dissenters?
  • This is a real dumb a*# response and proves that this game quality is going down the toilet. I’m normally a “keep a wide perspective” person but to make it seem as if we’re misjudging her because we’re “only human and don’t see through the lens of a Klingon” isn’t going to fix the issue of a lazily written story. If we…

  • I’m on console so I haven’t played it yet. To be honest, I really don’t want to being that I hate the entire arc but, because I’m a completionist I’m “forced” to do it on one of my mains. But it’s only getting one play through so I can be done with J’Ula and this “make disco relevant” nonsense. Unfortunately I’m sure…

  • As far as YoK, I think there were a few missteps. 1. More KDF faction ships, especially Legendaries. 2. The whole J’Ula angle that most players really didn’t care for. 3. The Klingon Recruit rewards and how some are unlocked. Forcing players to use systems that are flawed yet tying a large number to complete is almost a…

Genesis is kinda touched on a bit during the Tzenkethi arc because protomatter weapons, and apparently the Lukari have perfected Genesis tech, although without a delivery method like the Federation had developed. • > @warmonger360 said: > could go back to the genesis planet and investigate what formed there Or, better yet, someone rediscovers the Genesis formula and uses it and creates a new galactic mess. I’d play through a mission string on it. Gives them a chance to create new species and mechanics from the norm.
  • Chronos Temporal Dreadnought Cruiser.
  • For The Badlands, the end part where you have to “repel the invasion”, it seems as if they need to scale the amount of ships to those in zone. Increase the number of capital ships. Create a supersized dreadnought for players to sink their teeth into. More of the frigates and escorts to run havoc. It’s obvious that there’s…
  • I support this idea also. I got a Delta/Rom that’s collecting dust right now and my recent KDF recruit is joining him. I’m currently on my Gamma recruit only because I got the Gamma Pack and unlocking the ships for my mains. Not really interested in the recruit account unlocked stuff because most of it is worthless, except…
  • Next ship please? This looks like trash in my opinion. Don’t think there was any demand for this but, yet again, wasted time and resources that could’ve been apply somewhere else. But, who cares what the players want right?
  • > @"livinlifejb90#4082" said: > As for the thread's actual topic, if anything i'm more concerned about them shutting down the game due to the lack of resources/personnel, not lack of content. I wish this game would receive more of those things, but I don't think it will ever happen. Which is unfortunate. because this game…
  • Hard pass. There are so many ships that they could have either added a T6 version of or added to the game as a first run but instead they add in the flying surfboard.
  • The only way there will be any type of punishment for those that AFK on purpose in a TFO is if/when Cryptic deems it a problem that the vast majority of the player base wants addressed. And, being that it’s ftp I don’t personally see the issue being resolved anytime soon. It sucks that there are those that don’t “play in…
