This seems like more of a CBS decision than anything. Promoting season 3 of discovery but that is my assumption. Judging by the scavanging animation, this also seems like its based on Naussican Gurumba as well or however its spelled.

Most likely they won't. Not for a very long time. There is Mirror Leeta to cover and the Picard show to cover when that comes around. So don't expect anything TOS in a couple years more than likely.

I dunno. For those that don't want to spend zen on ships. June seems like a rather interesting event. Operation: Riposte would at least be hopefully something new. That is what Elite Difficulty is for bud. But yeah I hope the ground armor featured would be account bound and for leveling up. Having the sompek shields, weapon and this armor would make for some pretty nefty leveling armor for alts.

This is awfully risky of STO to do this. On one hand, it would bring in the discovery fans and perhaps new ships from that era On another, I really....dun wanna grind for an another tier.
