Oh yes, if you want to play endgame space barbie, you shouldn't use crafted weapons. The antiproton guns are ugly as hell... All my boffs use rep-equipment. It's just not enough for my admiral. And I wish I could change the skin of the weapons.
I agree with the OP. Crafted weapons with the right stats are much better than rep- and fleet weapons. Once you get your hand on one of those antiproton crtdx4 weapons, everything else will be trash. There's a big gap between crafted and rep/fleet weapons. Cou can reach ~50% CrtH with the right equip/skills, so CrtD is…
The DPS wizards should do solo Japori patrol elite. Let's see if they can still do 75k dps in a tier one ship here. *comment is totally out of context, but I'm totally drunk so I don't care*
I am very disappointed. That would be a Hotfix in other online games, which would be fixed within a day. No developer would wait 2 weeks to fix a critical bug like this, during a limited time event like WinterWonderland. Bye STO.
Add me to the list. Just got 3 toons to all get one of the ships today. I didn't tried the carrier, but Chell Grett and Plesh Brek still need 1000 photos, even when I add both ships to my roster on my alts.
I agree with the engineer and science boff skills. 2 EPtW and 2 science teams is a bit overkill. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll change that and see if I can survive more (my biggest issue atm). I tried to get the most of my tac boff skills and to make every slot useful. With my setup I can use cannon and beam skills…
All three beams can fire in 360 degrees, and they deal more damage than turrets. The Defiant has so many tac abilities left (when you don't use torbedos), and 40k crits with the aft beams every now and then is nice. Thanks for the advice. It's really sad; the Defiant is my favourite ship and I would kill for a tier 6…
Still not fixed after the recent patch. Pretty annoying when I can equip cannons on my Eclipse, but the bug prevents me to do that. This should be high prioritiy. I was sure that this would be fixed in the last patch, but no.
