I agree the cost of skill respecs is way, way, way too high. They really should be purchasable directly with EC, and barring that, reduced in Zen price considerably, and also tradeable on the Exchange.
I agree entirely with this assessment. Optimally, of course, would be allowing the Fleet doffs to be contributed to fleet projects; I cannot imagine why Cryptic would prohibit them from being contributed!
I, too, am all for changing the "Defeated" mechanic (for all situations other than the special Plasma Energy Ball defeat, which I also dislike but cannot see a good solution for) to the player ship becoming totally disabled like the saucer sections/Enterprise in Boldly They Rode. Enemies stop targeting you, and you become…
My Logitech G15 keyboard lets you hold down a key and have it rapidly repeat left clicks. That's what I mean; if I didn't have a G15 I could use autohotkey to achieve much the same result.
The voiceovers are already in the game data, Cryptic has files like "Voice_Bo_Accent_Female_Brit", "Voice_Bo_Accent_Male_Scot", "Voice_Bo_Klingon_Female", "Voice_Bo_Ferengi_Male", and so on...
I don't think it's so much of a different version of the editor, but rather just more options/categories unlocked in the editor. And yes, it would be extremely easy for Cryptic to enable more options for aliens. Will they? That's a different question entirely...
Well, it'd be possible, but the way Cryptic have things, the NPCs that walk around your base are pulled from the same pool of NPCs as the ones that walk around ESD, K7, your ship interior, etc. So Cryptic would have to separate the fleet base NPCs from them; not too hard, but a tad more work than otherwise. Currently you…
Arena PvP is a great way to grind for dil. 3 Easy Steps: 1) Remove all your defensive gear (except for impulse engines if you're in space, as you need them to move around) 2) Run/fly headlong into the enemy 3) Die and respawn Repeat until you lose. Only takes 3 times to get your dil!
I don't know about you guys, but when a developer of a game comes out and says, "Hey, look at this new feature we just implemented! I'm taking the time to inform you that I would personally like to see these particular items made bound to account. More info to follow." I sure expect some action to follow towards making it…
We got the idea from a CRYPTIC DEV, who basically promised we would see STF item requisitions bound to account and shareable to alts. Of course, it seems they've backed out on that promise, sadly...
Extremely likely. Cryptic buggered up child geometries (badges, ranks, skirt legs, chests, etc.) somehow, and I'm fairly certain those cape thingies are also child geometries.
