I have gotten this AFK penalty with and without the backpack. It's happened to me a few times. This has happened to me a few times now. I do the First Contact Day mission, gather the parts, modify them, etc) and I was not AFK at all. Then I got an AFK penalty.

Second night in a row, I can't get in. My friend can't either. Major bummer......

I can't log in either. The launcher launches the game then when it starts to load at the character selection screen, it throws me offline. I'm not sure what else I can try at this point short of re-installing the whole game or waiting for another emergency patch. My friend can't log in either, he's having the same problem…

How to claim Romulan tier 5 reputation. It's not even close to intuitive. As a fleet leader I had to walk people through how to claim it many dozens of times. It shouldn't be so confusing to new people. Seriously.

It really was a "flash" sale. They flashed it, we all missed it. Bummer. Looked like a good one too. Heck, if they coupled it with a zen sale, I'm reasonably certain I would have bought into it. Good thing they didn't flash both.

I recommend getting multiple characters and use the dilithium exchange to swap dilithium around among your toons as needed.

I also was not able to see Pavyl. This is my last quest for the master relaxer accolade. I looked in all his locations during day and night (as indicated by the lit torches). I don't know if this will help anyone, but I was able to fix on my computer the same errors that the OP was seeing. The way I solved this was by clicking on options on the log in window, then I selected safe mode (I didn't even know this was possible before today). Then I logged in with safe mode on, and went into the game…
