Call me a heretic. It's a title that I wear proudly IRL.
Here's another one to twist your canonical panties in a knot. The Borg Queen's organic components bear a striking residual personality signature to a Deltan. Never mind the baldness - that's …
Of course it was Regeneration, not First Contact. I haven't seen FC in a while, so I guess I'll queue it up on Netflix.
It's called speculation. It's like a game that stretches the mind.
Here's an interesting what-if (at least it's interesting in my head), What if advanced and elite missions required simultaneous or well coordinated space action, ground action and station action in order to succeed? Let's say that the fleet has to s…
Just my humble opinion. It would have been best to have the rank capped at Captain, except for the ranking officers of a fleet. Admiralty endowed by vote of fleet members and limited to five members per fleet. Wouldn't that be closer to lore friendl…
For example, Eve Online penalizes stacking of modules that buff the same attributes.
Except for farming reasons, like trying to get lots of dilithium quickly, it's really no fun to be overpowered. If your captain isn't peeing blood by the end of th…
My AOS seems to recall correctly, but I think the Toh'duj still don't want to dock. However, when moving them from one part of the battlefield to the next they seem to all redeploy at once. I haven't actually done a headcount to be certain.
From just one Deferi mission against the Breen, I picked up a total of 7 contraband.
I was using one squadron of AOS and one squadron of Toh'duj fighters.
Well, that was embarrassing! I played it... must have entirely spaced with the who's who. I guess I'll go back to my hole in the ground. LOL That rebel changeling was Laas! I need to make a temporal incursion and tell myself not to make my last pos…
Remember Laas? He was a changeling that Odo encountered whilst the Founders were sick. What if there was an Alpha Link established by Laas that never signed the treaty. He was quite adamant in his distrust and hatred of solids. He could easily repur…
I just finished watching DS9, and in the final episode, Sisko promises a return - and that his return would be unexpected and non-linear. It would be awesome to add Avery Brooks to our list of celebrity voice-overs to usher in the return of Sisko (a…
In our reality, Sisko would have sued Smiley for copyright infringement by building a Mirror Defiant. But he didn't. Precedent set by Star Trek itself. Build a Mirror universe Excalibur with constitution parts and you get away with it Scott free. Yo…
Hey, Pally, (yeah, just finished watching season 7 DS9) a noob started this thread! So you are overqualified for comments!
This is an opportunity for you to teach and for me to learn.
I'm not a new alt. I'm a new player. I have been in game for about a month I can't even understand everyone's acronyms yet. I'm never said that it's too hard as a member of a team, I said it was impossible for me to finish a red alert when my teamma…
The problem is that mid-50's usually don't have the resources of an elite veteran. It's useless telling me how to fit a super star destroyer when I have a Millennium Falcon trash salvage fit, because that's my budget. Have you forgotten what it is l…
I'll need to fit some beams, then. Right now, I'm fit primarily for mines. Quantum mines aft and Vaadwaur tricobalt cluster fore, with a fast load transphasic torpedo launcher. I have one polaron beam fore and aft and dual tetryon cannon. My tactic…
My toh'duj fighters are awesome. I couldn't hold them back when trying to liberate the Borg. They were killing too quickly when I needed time to activate the Cooperative's link severing beam. I have been thinking about getting some Orion slaver figh…
I thought that was what this game was, but nevertheless, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. So if I'm interested in operating a science vessel, are there science mission agents to give me more planetary survey missions like the search for New Romulus?
