Yep, if I cannot play as a Romulan or Klingon, I will be passing this up completely. I have zero interest in making a Fed character, in TOS or any other era. The Romulan's really are the masters of Science, not the Feds, or humans, really if anything the Human's of the Federation are known for exploration and wanderlust, but even then the Romulan empire was far more reaching at it's peak than the UFP, so they were not lacking in exploration either. Look on the bright side, maybe the Romulan's unseat the humans as the prime race in the UFP, and manage to win the seat of President of the UFP as well, which obviously could happen on and off, but really the UFP really could use the help of the Romulan's.

I am more sold on the designs after going through the pictures multiple times yesterday. Thinking the Kopesh with the Flambard's nacelles, not sure on the wings yet. May just keep the Kopesh's.

Is it any surprise? Star Trek from inception has been HUMANS! Evolution's gift to the Universe, creating the UFP to usher in peace for all other species thru out space! Because Humans have the best ideas, blah, blah, blah....

It was outside the gamma quadrant, which they did use, and apparently it was on loan from the Romulan's for use against the Dominion, for which they got all of the Federation's intel on the Gamma Quadrant. (I read about it early today, lol.)

Ah, interesting, this made me go read the entry for the treaty at memory alpha, and it claims the STO in game lore has the UFP president saying that they still uphold the treaty, of course then it points out all of the ships that the players can get with a cloak, lol.

I am not sure on the look yet, but the other part is very true. The RR would work with the Remens as an equal on these kinds of things, which really means we should get more ships in the future that show design ideas from the Remens. Which I really wish we would get a Remen ship or two, the KDF have Nausican and Orion…

Being allies doesn't really change the UFP/Starfleets policy on using cloaks, unless that changed and I am unawares. I can't remember the loophole used for the Defiant, but I am pretty sure Starfleet could make cloaking ships if they really wanted to, but do not because they are Starfleet, and it's not the Starfleet way.

That would have been a much better design. I am not into the T6's at this point, debating if I want to buy them to throw my support behind Romulan's or safe eff this TRIBBLE, and pass them up. Seriously, I really hope they get a proper bridge in this one. (I would love to see a few new bridges for the roms, I find it hard to believe that the T'liss and, well basically every other ship other than the Scimitar have the exact same bridge.

Maybe they wont, but we wont get anything at all if we don't keep saying we want it. The Romulans and Klingons need a T6 Science ship. The Fedrats get a pile of them, there is no reason why we can't have one.

It is completely a horrible idea, and would probably lead to even less Romulan and KDF ships being made per Fed one even more disproportionate. (still waiting for a T6 Science ship....)
