The problem with this is that those existing tools are not always working. Which, unless I am mistaken, is the point that someone was attempting to make.

Yeah I have this option and Privacey settings on Friends / Fleet only. Still does no good and i continue to get spammed. I am not a PVPer even though I have dabbled occasionally. I have nothing against those who do. But something needs to be done to address the issue. Getting spammed outright lessens the gmes enjoyability.
