Well, of course it is. With the new event UI, play any of the new content, and you automatically participate in the event. If that turns out to be true, then forget about doing just the featured episode for 27 days... I have to watch that, too, and hope it's just an unintended glitch.
If I recall correctly, old special projects were made available when a new holding arrived. As the colony is still the newest fleet holding, I don't expect the special projects for it to be available anytime soon.
My guess is the Nausicaan BOff prevents the comission. The game considers the Orion as a BOff from the other faction and registers there's already one of those (the Nausicaan). If the Orion BOff was advertised as an option for an additional KDF-BOff, then there's something not working correctly.
Exactly. The old seasonal events with the short tasks made me log on, and as the task was done quickly, I was able to do something else in-game (other event activity--don't forget that winter/summer event never only was the ship, and for me, especially summer event, was the highlight of the year--, a TFO etc.). And if I…
Visited Khaya again today, both her physical and mental health are deteriorating. It smells disgusting there now, and I'm concerned beyond telling. Something was new, though, the mission tracker was missing at first. But a friend was teaming up with her, and it returned to the same old "[Tutorial]: End of Watch - Welcome…
It's sad that you have to be either cheering for everything, or belong to "a group of people NOT want to play a game ... yet continue to do so". As I've said before, I love the game, and I bet so do most of the other "complainers". If they wouldn't at least care about the game, they wouldn't post here, and follow your…
These aren't "most of the complainers", although I guess there are people like that. But those people don't "complain" here, they either open their wallets and use the buy-out option, or they just leave. What I, and from the impression I got from actually reading their posts, most of the other "complainers" do, is voicing…
True, and if I'm able to log on regularly, there's usually no problem figuring it out. It's the changes to from PST to PDT and back when things get ugly (unless they abandoned that at the west coast; but that's not breaking news where I live). Anyway, this timezone link was a welcome feature, which ambassadorkael…
There they are, good thing I stopped looking for patch-notes before maintenance a long time ago. The announcement in the forums: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1251201/pc-patch-notes-for-9-19-19 The actual patch-notes on the Arc-site:…
From the launcher: Unfortunately ambassadorkael forgot to put in the "When is that in your timezone"-link this time, and I wager that a lot of fellow weak mathematicians like me have an easier time to figure the time on their own with UTC times instead of "Pacific" or "PT", as there's no daylight-saving with UTC.
After having played all the content eligible for the event, I'll do the TFO two times a day when I feel like working on the event. Probably won't get it without spending Zen because of RL and event fatigue setting in even earlier than in the past.
After having played the episode the new "happens on every map change" annoyance is the above. I'm still confident that the Devs will fix that at soon as possible.
On every map change since I've played the new TFO after maintenance yesterday. My guess is they screwed up something while implementing the new TFO into the endeavor system, will probably be fixed with the next patch or one of the future patches after, depending on how long it takes them to find out what's causing it.…
Response to moderated post redacted. — WingedHussar Anyway, maniac20 already gave the correct and helpful answer. Keep them and find out eventually what you get for them, but it won't be future event rewards.
Thanks for the info, garaks31! Unfortunately I couldn't watch this, as there's way too much waiting, irrelevant talk and so on. Turned it off after 9 minutes without anything interesting happening.
I'd love to see how the game looked when it all began... but I can't imagine Cryptic has that kind of resources to spare to satisfy my curiosity, so I'm glad if they just keep the game running and not implement too many changes that cut into my fun.
Glad these threads show up here after all, wondering what unseen other chores Kael's duties involve, besides those easily noticed by a player like me. Hope he'll keep doing fine!
There is also the following thread regarding this problem: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1249336/event-mission-auto-completion-second-column/p1
I'm with Khaya in that corridor prison right now... her health is deteriorating and her mental condition is beyond what I can describe here. I just hope I'll be able to free her from there, soon.
