How do I get off this ride? This is EXACTLY how corporations get made out to be so damn evil in this country. As someone who has played this game since day 1, this is a bridge too far. Its the obvious lack of respect for fans that make a game like this possible that I cant get over. Make a space game, have all the…
Except the Constitution. They made T6 versions of all of them, except the Constitution. I finally won the T6 gamble box Connie, but I am still hoping that at some point they release a non temporal T6 version of the Constitution so its unlocked on your whole account. All other things aside its a beautiful ship that should…
I am all for making not only the Connie Zen store, but that maybe the way to get some play for everyone, some 23rd century sectors, Next gen etc......... There is STILL a ton of content for this game to grow, and that's WITHOUT adding more JJverse content. Which I wouldn't mind seeing. But yes, Zen store Connie is a must.
Great model! AND the first ship I have won now from gambling boxes. Still not a fan of the gambling boxes and wish it was unlocked account wide......but beautiful ship! Nice work!
Your joking right? T1 and T2 ships are only viable for a handful of hours of gameplay. For T6 the overwhelming vast majority of Constitution fans are S.O.L.[/quote] That's the frustration so far unless its a big surprise which would be awesome!
I do think the T6 Light Cruiser that was awarded needs to be kept special in some way. Maybe the TMP and WoK Connies need to be Heavy Cruisers again? *coughs T6*
Totally excited for this, literally the reason I have stuck with STO since beta. IF they come out with an endgame ship for the Cstore. No bloody lock box or gambling of any kind please! Great artwork and finally (maybe?) the STO I have been waiting for! (Though I have loved the game, this has been missing far to long at…
Absolutely right. A show based on higher ideals, and these guys are strip mining people's bank accounts on the 50th Anniversary using THE most recognizable piece of Star Trek, the Constitution Class Starship. It absolutely poor taste. If it is a money issue, put it in the C Store and make it unlockable for the account.…
I know I am going to get the usual, YOU MUST BE HAPPY OR WE WILL GIVE YOU A HARD TIME TRIBBLE. Having been a Star Trek fan since the late 70's early 80's I have watched literally every episode and every movie. Read most of the books even. So when the 50th Anniversary rolls around, and we have this game with so much…
I am hoping against hope that this will actually be an awesome lock box that wont rip everyone off, that the reason the ship is IN a lockbox is so that those that CANT buy it in the Cstore can get it through the lock box. It would be sad to see such a great addition to the game be used purely as a gimmick
I saw the announcement today, I was so excited! Ship look beautiful! The bridge looks beautiful! I couldnt wait to buy it. Then I saw lockbox....... :o 50th Anniversary of Star Trek, and this is how they treat the player base? Its pretty sick actually. If you were in the boardroom or whatever passes for one these days, and…
I was looking foreword to Agents of Yesterday. Not playing it now. I am straight up done with this game, you want my money, put the ship up for sale. If its too expensive, or not worth it, I wont buy it. But I am not GAMBLING to get it. I HATE the lock box system. And I don't give a DAMN about rarity when you have people…
We got trolled on the reboot. Sure the Dread made out ok. But the Galaxy-r still blows. I want to love it, I really do. But it's like driving with the Parking Brake on compared to any other ship. I reeeeaaaallly wanted to be positive. Give the reboot a chance. But it's not good. It's insulting that the Excelsior is like…
So my friend and I have been testing builds in 1v1. There isn't a tier 5 cruiser that can't beat the Galaxy down with a competent skipper, and or equivalent load out. The Excelsior literally manhandles the ship. Which is ridiculous. It amuses me how many people are afraid, or do not want a revamp of the Galaxy class.…
You know, I actually like what Captain Smirk wrote in response to the feedback, and what smoggy snack wrote in ne of the other threads describing how the devs DID meet a lot of the requested changes and suggestions, if not all. Also referencing some changes coming up that might benefit the Galaxy. I really respect that…
You know one of the reasons I started flying the Independence-D again is because it's a challenge. The Avenger frankly is just to easy in PVE. But the main reason I wanted a fix for the Galaxy was for No Win Scenario, and some of the really Teamwork heavy missions. And yes, in the end, I remember it as the Enterprise I…
Maybe they will have a big just kidding announcement. I mean above and beyond the fact this totally sucks for Galaxy R, not everyone has access to a t5 fleet. So while the Fleet version is awesome.....the regular is meh. But yeah, this is no reboot........ Edit: I'm praying tomorrow sees big changes for the retrofit
I still fly mine all the time in Anythng but pvp. And I'll give the revamp a shot. Been watching some classic episodes, fun, but kinda feel like she is terribly underrated
Can't have that Galaxy TRIBBLE the balance of the game up. They need a ship to sit around and get punched. You don't need dps for sto, just look at the Avenger, Scimitar, Heavy Destroyers, even Vesta....... Ok sarcasm aside, there are some good builds out there, and I know Kymymm, I think I just butchered her name, and…
Love it. I got what I want, I'm out! Well that's great. And in the end, the Galaxy, whatever letter you want to put behind it is still nothing like she should be. Plenty of ways improving her without being overpowered, or pissing in the Sovvy/avenger pool. Apparently any of us that we're hoping for more, though less than…
Yes, and that episode also justifies why the Galaxy class should have some universal consoles or stations. They converted some of the side stations to tactical stations
Wait who said it should be better than the Sovvy? The Nebula in all reality is the same thing as the Miranda, a kitbash, or if you want more canon, it was cheaper to use successful proven hulls to make a new ship that was more science than the Galaxy class. As for the Excelsior, come on, she was used to ferry personnel…
We'll said! I'm going to add this though, Constitution class, primary mission, 5 year exploration, designation: Heavy Cruiser. Excelsior basically a giant Constitution designed to test transwarp drive. Still primarily an exploration ship designed to replace the Constitution. Guess what replaced the Excelsior? The…
