The Chimera is a reward ship for Lifetime subscribers or 1,000 day subscriber veterans. You can only buy it if you purchase a Lifetime subscription. Same thing applies to the Tier 6 version, the Manticore.

This is very sad news! Bruce was my personal connection with the world of Star Trek. In the mid-to-late 80's he was a substitute teacher, and I had the honor of being in a few of his classes in high school. He was a wonderful person and a great teacher! Here's to you, Bruce! We'll miss you!
