Hmm odd then that in the main game you get the credits as soon as you discard an item, although not for all items. I guess AoY works differently. No worries I'll have a faff around with the replicator or find a vendor. Thanks.

Ah that might lend a clue then. I've got it on my tray on my Sovereign class ship but not on my Connie, which was the ship I was looking for it on. Guess I must have put it into the device slot on the Sovereign. Thanks.

Thanks, I will hold my hand up and say "yes I have never really got it" when it comes to all the ship stuff, I am a casual casual player - I basically like the game for being able to pilot canon ships and do the ship to ship combat. Don't know if it counts as playing as a KDF character but I find it more agreeable to do the dailies on the KDF side (mostly Empire Defense) with my Hegh'ta Bird of Prey than I do any similar dailies with my Federation character's Sovereign. My Hegh'ta seems more capable of destroying ships at least.

I find this a little bit infuriating also, my ships where appropriate (i.e. anything that has been called Enterprise) are all named Yorktown (because we can't use Enterprise). I don't find much has changed re. the state of the game to be honest, not that I've noticed at least.
