  • I guess that answers the question about whether or not reinstalling the game would fix it. I'll mark that off my weekend to-do list, then. I'd really love to know the common element that determines who has the issue and who doesn't, since it doesn't seem like a common issue.

  • Still having the problem too. I haven't gotten around to uninstalling/reinstalling the game because I'm just not optimistic it'll fix it, and nervous it'll break something else. It's weird. I have a positively ancient computer and an unimpressive video card, but don't have any of the connection, lag, and app crashing…

  • OT Trivia: That wasn't an actor, it was Harve Bennett, writer and producer of ST II through ST V, doing a cameo. :D Sadly, he passed away just a couple of months ago. And, uh, just so this isn't completely off topic: I love the new sector space too. Feels properly empty for deep space, finally.

  • I'm having the same problem. No weapons visible on ground missions and no torpedo effects on space missions. I was hoping one of the patches last week would fix it, but no such luck. I've been thinking about uninstalling/reinstalling the game client to see if that fixes it but would rather not deal with all that if I don't…
