I wasn't really that surprised. Just annoyed. And I've been playing since launch, but am rarely on here and this a second account. That being said, I've always had an issue with this practice.
I really don't want to grind. Still, I am grateful there is an alternative way to get it. I have a family though, I simply don't have time to play the game that much.
I enjoyed it for what it was. Like I said, I liked what they did with it, I just expected more (but probably shouldn't have considering the fact Cryptic was pretty open about it not being a full expansion afterall. My mistake.)
Very interesting that they seem to give everything so randomly. As for the spending of Zen, I'm fairly positive I've spent over the required amount by now, but maybe it was only within a certain time-frame? Either way... I mean, TRIBBLE, it would be nice if we could at least get them from lockboxes like the DS9 ones.…
Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I guess she was just one of the random lucky ones. I know it's a silly thing, really, but as a collector who loves TOS, it's kinda disappointing I can't get them unless I'm lucky enough. lol Oh, well... Such is the way of things.
Well, they took a lot from the various versions. The markings on the saucer are reminiscent of The Cage, but the nacelles are more akin to the NX, the pylons are more like the A (or Refit), the Engineering Hull and saucer are mostly akin to TOS and The Cage, and even the aft of the Engineering Hull is more akin to the E.…
I recall them saying they had CBS permissions, but everything has to be okayed through them before release. CBS has always looked at STO as a sort of side-project. But now that they're "More involved," maybe they can get those permissions. Also, I think you're right about Paramount. I forgot about them. Would be nice…
