The pod went to the Genesis planet, not deep space. Spock was reborn by the Genesis wave effect. Watch ST3 again. Christopher Lloyd found the pod and all that was in it was Spock's burial cloak and maggots.

My Galaxy-X's Counter Command Impulse Engine video effect is WAY too bright. **edit** I have to agree with the need to zoom out thing. Camera is way too close.

The gravity console boosts things like tractor beam and repulsors. What you want for your grav well is a particle generator. It's a common mistake.

Try slotting a daily project. You may have to complete it, but then it should appear.

Tried verifying the files, etc. I typically use the old launcher, that way I don't have ARC or Steam spying on me, but this time after I was booted, I logged in via ARC, it asked to verify files, I said no, it asked if I wanted safe or normal login, and I chose normal.
