I'm obviously not the only one that thinks this should be added to the game, I wonder why the devs haven't ever gotten around to it.

I would like the borg to have some different beam type, along with the torpedoes. Not only that, I would like them to also be player equipable. Gravemetric torpedoes would be cool to have on a klingon ship :D

This is exactly what I was getting at. It would be nice, but probably not practical for the devs. Maybe the developers never played bridge commander, maybe there's something wrong with this view.
