Meh... They just wanted to demolish an old but useful building and replace it with a cheaper trendier looking group of condos. We were all merely occupying the demolition site when they dropped the nuke anyways.

Change isn't scary so much as uncomfortable in this case. Especially, when the change is a SIGNIFICANT downgrade from what was offered previously. A lot of threads that had pictures are now broken. And everyone is irritated perhaps justifiably so about losing access to quite a bit of content and options not to mention that…

Again, yes it did take me somewhat by surprise. And I do regret merging my accounts. I would like to avoid touching zen even with a fifty foot pole. I don't feel that the overall outcome is going to be all that great. Though what surprise there was had been blunted by my personal expectations on how this gig is now…

I so wanted to play Romulans and Cardassians. Especially Romulans. Barring that, I would still play the Feds. I don't really like Klingons at all.

Kinda, but then Cryptic is just another arm of PWE. And the union is not yet complete. If anything, something of this nature would be expected as the assimilation runs its course.

They aren't out to get anyone, that is the truth for the most part. But they do have a rather repugnant reputation for not stopping or seemingly caring when they run someone over.

Steam is your best bet to get around this horrific mess. At least until they quash that and zen becomes the default; Which will probably mean vastly increasing prices across the board.

Not that I am afraid of change or anything, but I much rather preferred the old forums. It was more fully formed and was a lot more "flexible" with the options you had at hand.

If you have this through steam, you can use the steam wallet to purchase more traditional C-points. But I will agree this does not look all that appetizing.

Not holding my breath on this one. I am well beyond my 700 day threshold. Yet for the most part I wasn't paying attention and didn't know that there was an android available. The circumstances for which cryptic finds itself I learned not to expect much too soon. For those waiting expect a somewhat lengthily wait time.

wasn't thinking when I did it though part of me regrets merging my account, the other part really doesn't care much anymore. Guess I will stick to buying cpoints through steam, at least until they remove that.

A change or two here and there, I am all set for now though. Will continue to check up on this every so often to see what type of hilarity will await me.
