As far as actual feedback, hangar pets still can't use Full Impulse, and have reverted to randomly ignoring Carrier Commands.

@crypticspartan#0627 - Hangar Pets still seem incapable of keeping up with the mother craft while at full impulse.

Pretty much these two snippets cover my feelings on the topic. I never cared about the marks, or the dil, or the exp... I cared only about the "AND THEN, SUDDENLY!"-factor.

Issue persists, I am unable to claim not only the Chel Grett, but the Plesh Brek and Sarr Theln on some characters, regardless of overflow bag being absent, yet able to on others.
