meanwhile, i managed to explore the entire galaxy (aside from a few isolated unclaimed systems which i think have guardians in them) in stellaris in less than 100 years...of course, that's mainly because of shared sensor data with all the other empires that actually joined the galactic union thingie when it was founded…

i don't think they actually revamped anything in that arc yet anyway - it was just the tutorial and franklin drake/rura penthe missions

actually, another thing i would add to STO - and star trek in general could use more of them too...more megastructures so far the only one we have is a dyson sphere...how about we get some variety there, like a ringworld? halo does not have a monopoly on those or maybe a matrioshka brain, a penrose sphere or even something…

that's a possible thing they could do - abolish the position of chancellor entirely and just go back to using an emperor of course, that runs into the same problem as martok, adet'pa or anyone else with celebrity VA - kahless' VA may not be available when they need him for future content
