he's not been there the past several times i've gone to DS9 for dabo endeavors - hearsay has it he was banned by cryptic's automated monitors mistaking him for a bot
bit late on that - they've already set precedence for adding promo ships to the lobi store, even if it was only for a weekend - remember the tzen'tar? and that's a fairly popular ship too, despite not being a show design
they don't WANT our help to rebuild - in fact, l'miren specifically told us to TRIBBLE off and leave them alone for the next thousand or so years at the end of midnight - not in those exact words, obviously, but the meaning was clear
even if it is an exploit, cryptic doesn't ban for minor ones - they'll just patch it out and call it a day, like how they patched the ability to see what random TFO you would be getting before you actually launched into the map
even command has at least ONE useful power, provided you are using a torp boat (concentrate firepower, STRONGLY preferably at rank 3) the only specialization that doesn't really have any truly useful powers that you can base a build around is pilot
there is ONE other useful intel power, but it's situational - ionic turbulence it's classed as an anomaly, which means it triggers spore-infused anomalies - of course, you not only need to actually HAVE that trait, but you also need to have a ship that not only has intel seating, but has intel seating that doesn't disrupt…
i don't even get why the transports are gathering at the starbase anyway...they should be hauling TRIBBLE away from mars at best possible speed - unless they're evacuating the station, but then why are the reactivated combat ships staying behind in that case?
most of it's just boring, tedious busywork - something i absolutely LOATHE in any queue, and i don't even get the satisfaction of watching mars get kharak'd at the end to make up for it at least they finally seem to have stamped out the bugs with ships getting stuck - why the hell they spawn ships THAT close to a massive…
and...with the exception of the ships that don't have actual class names - like the J or Class 4 types - every single one of those names is a direct reference to something, so i don't know what point you were trying to make even Alka-Selsior is a reference - it's a pun on Alka-Seltzer
that was nukes built during the height of the cold war - specifically american nukes; they didn't have the safety features they did back in 1947, so even an unarmed one might still have exploded - or at least scattered large amounts of radioactive materal all over the desert...and soviet ones didn't have much of any…
i'm guessing he's primarily talking about ruin of our enemies, which stacks infinitely as long as you don't change maps - there are others that also don't expire until you change maps, but most of them have limits
marrok: the hell it doesn't - every smell in the kitchen is way stronger than it should be...i didn't think anything of it at the time, but this definitely isn't natural...what the hell did you do?
marrok: you must've missed a spot...like, a really BIG spot because it smells really intense - like you've been swimming in animal viscera hell, the entire kitchen reeks too
marrok: strong smells don't fade quickly, especially if you don't wash them off - stuff like blood can linger for days, if not years if the source remains intact, as can death
(hey, did anyone happen to notice we have almost twice as many pages and posts as the other RP thread? of course, most of this thread is off-topic stuff - if that were deleted, we'd probably drop behind massively)
