not only that, but the J was meant to be a galactic explorer...so where the hell is the federation presence in other galaxies and why aren't they shipping dilithium from any of those? everything said about the burn so far seems to indicate it was confined to the milky way

that's why i started the topic - i was trying to think of what name cryptic might use for a T6 version when it occurred to me...steamrunner doesn't actually MEAN anything i even tried to look on urban dictionary to see if it was slang for something, and no results that i could find

i don't think you CAN knock out a singularity, at least not safely, because the only way to collapse one is to stop feeding it matter and let it bleed off hawking radiation...of course, when it finally DOES collapse, it goes off like a nuke

matt: well, it's already been tinkered with to both allow it to hold black souls as well as cut it off from azura - like every daedric artifact dad's ever picked up to prevent them being yeeted back to oblivion...when you've got them on display in a museum, it wouldn't do to have half your exhibit suddenly go missing…

i question that, frankly...the transwarp coil voyager swiped carried them over 10,000 LY before it gave out...at no point did they say they had to keep dropping out of transwarp to avoid damage to the ship - though, maybe they did and that's WHY the coil burnt out
