Except they DO specify which ruins the gate is in - it is the ruins you end up going into at the end of the New Romulus story arc, where you literally FIND the gateway amid a group of tholians trying to activate it, and also the same ruins the player has to fight their way toward during the Iconian attack on the planet.
Of course it's condensed - EVERY city in any video game is condensed...or do you really think a capital city, whether fictional or not, can be walked from one side to the other in a minute or two?
(So, wait...whatever happened to the future crowd? I don't think they ever went back, but I don't remember the last place they were either. The last clear place I recall was on Nick's shuttle.)
(Well, I can already see how this is going to go - Lythe's going to tell Nick what she saw, and he's going to go 'Oh no!...anyway' and she's going to be completely confused why he has absolutely no regard for knowledge of his own death since she doesn't know he can't actually die.)
'Mother' is just a title L'Rell used during S2 after Ash/Voq's and Tenavik's 'deaths'* - and she is also Tenavik's mother, which may be what he was referring to...or he may have been referring to the title. Hell, it could've even been both a reference to her being his mother as well as the Mother of the Klingon Empire. *
Just changing the gather intel mechanic to auto-generation alone isn't enough - they also need to GREATLY reduce the time needed to generate enough stacks to unlock clickie use, and tie the time needed for it to ship rank - like, 2 seconds for rank 1, 4 for 2, 6 for 3 and 8 for 4 (and 5, of which only the Crystalline…
Alex: Great...well, what am I supposed to do while I wait for her to get back? There isn't exactly a lot to do around here - I can't even go after a Hur'q fleet, because they seem to have decided to take a break - which is admittedly good for those who would otherwise be fighting for their lives, but not for my sense of…
Alex: I could've just come over here on a shuttle if I'd known I were going on a wild goose chase...is the Admiral over there or on the station currently?
(I believe there were instances of normal people becoming Force-sensitive in both legends and current...but I seem to recall the methods used weren't exactly...moral, or safe.)
Alex: Because everything strange that happens usually centers around this group. So...nothing at all? Not even a cosmic string wibble? And what's up with the stream of runabouts heading outsystem, and why is there an Amarie parked here? That's not one of Gaia's ships, is it?
Alex: Okay, what happened? *he immediately asks after the connection is established* I felt an immense energy burst about an hour ago - like the universe was shuddering.
