I prefer this - player shields are frequently useless anyway while NPC shields on larger ships are so thick you need massive levels of firepower and/or large amounts of shield pen to do any appreciable damage in a reasonable timeframe - fighting in the nebula will make it less tedious for those groups who are on the weaker…

Apparently they also boosted the base mark reward, as I distinctly recall barely getting above 100 on advanced even WITH the bonuses completed AND a mark pool active whenever I deigned to actually do this pre-revamp, but someone last night said they got around 100 WITHOUT the bonus on advanced or a pool active. Same thing…

Cryptic is a miner pulling Platinum out of the ground - they may be pulling in valuable resources, but they're still dirt-poor because the profits from that are not going to THEM.

(We never got an explanation why there was another Earth in TOS either...frankly, I think it was just the Preservers having a laugh by building a shell world copy of what to them was just a random planet they stumbled across. Or a Q having a laugh by doing the same thing, only an actual world instead of a shell world.)

I mean...it's called the JOVIAN raider - Jovian = Mars = Heavily featured in a Picard short and frequently mentioned through Picard - so thinking the ship might be from Picard is understandable, especially given how obscure it is.

Blame cryptic for that - they made so much of the disco rep gear GOOD that people need tons of those marks...but people shouldn't be doing SB1 anymore - THWH is not only FASTER if you get a decent player or two, because unlike SB1, there are no timers, but it also pays more.

That far in the future, they should be able to make clothing that shapes itself to any form, to the point you feel naked, for the same cost in resources as a basic outfit costs today. Hell, less than that because magic replicators.

If you think carriers are an AFK paradise in Swarm, watch a team of people in Ba'ul Sentry ships - you can literally set up sentry mode on those over each lane and the people behind them can just...walk away - grab a loo, make a sandwich, catch up on some reading, whatever. He was only a few years younger when he voiced Alarak in Legacy of the Void and Nova: Covert Ops, and he was just as energetic in that role as he has been in any other.

I already fixed the problem for myself - it was Ghostery, and setting a wildcard Trusted Site exception for *.fandom.com SHOULD have fixed it for all wiki sites using that particular network. Of course, having those sites be marked as trusted sites means all the tracker and privacy invasion TRIBBLE isn't being blocked…
