*rakesh suddenly jerks up as klaxons start blaring across DS9* (because, you know...explosions tend to set off alarms) the hell - did the hur'q come back for round 2?
prime was my second CGI transformers show after beast wars, and it happens to be my second-favorite transformers show - also after beast wars it really had some great moments - still not sure if i prefer the nemesis design from G1/BW or prime, though
(what 2 days? alex is already at nol-ennis waiting...if he has to wait that long, you'll all be showing up at the system to find kai opaka waiting at the beamdown point to be picked up)
i know a way to fix all these arc problems...make all pet weapons omni-directional, or at least give them all an integrated [Arc] modifier not only will it fix the issues with them being unable to pilot, it'll also shake up the current pet meta
yeah...let's not be going there - i don't want the thread closed, so keep the disco hate for any of the other existing threads, people and yes, EPS corruption would fit - not for me personally, because my character is science-heavy, not engineering-heavy, but maybe for someone else i'll stick that in the OP
(i don't have one; i'm just giving rakesh one...also, you lucky TRIBBLE - the only ship gift i ever got was a choice of lobi ships, from which i picked a recluse...and that was YEARS ago)
i believe i mentioned Supernatural as my inspiration for creating the characters...so obviously how they were portrayed there is how i'm building the characters
well, famine i'm designing mostly around the literal interpretation - and what is food to a starship? fuel - or in STO's case, power so i made him a drain build also, updated the OP a bit
i was giving the dark matter torpedo consideration - both because i already have something else dark matter-themed on the list (Virulent Dark Matter Cloud) and because it's (currently) really damn potent, so having it would somewhat make up for making a themed build instead of a FOTM one though, i should point out the…
beast wars was never actually intended to be part of G1 continuity at first - or they were bouncing back and forth on it, i don't know the exact thought process of the writers or producers of the time - as they never outright STATED whether or not the axalon or darksyde actually crashed on earth until season 2 and they…
rakesh: i'm not - i fell under the 'equally worthy captain' category - given the things i've done for the empire, j'mpok couldn't think of a more deserving commander of such a vessel - despite the friction we had in the past
rakesh: i was wondering if you were going to spot the discrepancy - it's...not missing *he gets to his feet and walks over to the window at the back of the tailor shop and motions her over, then taps his comm unit and barks in klingonese* Sowee TAH DaH! (uncloak now!) *and shortly after he gives the order, space outside…
rakesh: he initially wasn't going to, especially as it was coming from j'mpok himself, but...i talked him into it - given the current situation with the hur'q i thought it prudent to get every possible asset into operation as quickly as possible (also...did anyone notice the little discrepancy with the numbers i posted?)
rakesh: he actually managed to produce 12 of the vessels before he met a very violent and bloody end - so 8 were gifted to honored captains of each of the current great houses with seats on the council: J'mpok, Cha'lak, K'lek, Kriton, Martok, S'kopa, Terrath and Woldan, with the other 3 being held in reserve for other such…
rakesh: some orders were placed by less...scrupulous elements of the empire, but they were dealt with along with tortoth himself (my in-universe explanation for why sarcophagi are so rare as opposed to the meta reason being a combination of gambleboxes and cryptic shitting on klingons since 2009)
radiation i've kind of been bouncing back and forth on maybe it would help if i actually provided context for why i wanted to assemble this list in the first place i've got a character called Pestilence that i modeled after the horseman (along with the other 3 horsemen - don't judge, i was on a Supernatural kick at the…
rakesh: well, it's kind of hard to sell something when you have hundreds of blood oaths sworn against you within minutes of the press release crossing the alpha and beta quadrants
rakesh: yes, one of your lost yards - and from rumblings i've heard, some of the tech on those ships was either ahead of its time or done in a way that was never followed up on in subsequent decades and the klingon empire has been busy as well - we've pulled old designs from that time period out of mothballs and are…
rakesh; with the memories i have in me combined with the intel reports we have on the lexington...nothing surprises me anymore - not even uncovering a lost shipyard full of 150-year old relics whose technology is still usable even today
