*geryon strolls into sickbay* doctor, how's our vuldine patient doing? milena: still asleep, thankfully peacefully geryon: well, we're currently en-route to deep space k-7, and when we arrive, we'll have to transfer her and everyone else to the station so they can receive proper treatment before being acclimated to this…
*with the orthrus on its way, geryon heads back to sickbay to speak with t'lera and inform her what's going to happen with her ship and crew* (WEST!) (*slaps rattler with an armed skunk* RATTLER!)
(are you TRYING to turn her into a beachball months ahead of time?) *the orthrus comes about and sets course for deep space k-7 before vanishing into a hyperspace rift a moment later*
geryon: it just sort of showed up, and we happened to be passing by this area on our patrol route when we picked up their distress beacon - lucky for them, too, because if mo'kai had shown up first...
the hell is that from? it can't be from any TOS episode, even a remastered one, because it looks too much like an actual ship and not a wood-and-plastic toy, and it isn't from any of the TMP-era movies either because it still has round nacelles
but if the veridians are different enough from humans, having a human skeleton that looks NOTHING like one of their skeletons could still cause cultural contamination issues - though, by the time they leave their own world, they would probably at least have inklings that other life exists in the galaxy
(well, you're about to pass out again when that skunk is done with you!) [L.I.S. Orthrus Bridge] geryon: well, looks like our guests have arrived *the canid, having been informed of what transpired in the interim, states as he gets to his feet* lt. shepard, hail the excalibur *he orders the shepherd, who does so*…
desha: none of the crew are in immediate danger, and we managed to undo some of the more minor alterations...others will require more advanced facilities than we possess, and some are so deeply ingrained it might not be possible to undo them
desha: we'll await their arrival - you may wish to send a tug along as well to salvage the centennial...it's badly damaged, but salvagable - perhaps a dedicated medical ship too, as the crew apparently found themselves under elachi and iconian 'care' for years after their initial disappearance from starbase one, and many…
(so is this the actual excalibur class that seems to be an insanely popular fan design given how many different game mods i see it pop up in or another ship just named excalibur?)
(it takes time to decommission stations, though - especially starbases, and the alliance has only existed for like...3 years now, in our story? barely 1 in cryptic's and i'd like to know just what class of ship the first centennial would've had to be to have a registry that low - what classes of ships even existed a few…
(...a registry number of 100 would put the ship in the early days of the federation, not 100 years later) desha: captain, do you still have listening posts and sensor arrays set up across the neutral zone? the sensors on those types of stations tend to be fairly powerful - it's a long shot, but maybe...
