(briana is really tickling a sleeping dragon by trying to bypass informing her CO and this is going to be a very interesting mission when we actually get it going)
*alex exits the holodeck and heads back to his own ship, intending to wait there for garak to contact him if he's required for whatever reason krystal is being summoned* (also, i hope people have been replaying the search to get a feel for the dialogue...i just played it yesterday, but i already forgot everything except…
alex: can we continue this on the way? garak strikes me as the type to go looking for secrets when he gets bored...and we REALLY do not need him poking around in our business
it wasn't ONE torpedo, it was a spread of 15+, and standard yield of a TNG photon torpedo is 64 megatons according to the technical manual (obviously, they never stated the yield in real calculable numbers in the actual series, so that's the only figure i can use)...even if the yield 100 years ago was less, they're terran…
why? kidneys can regenerate by themselves if they've been injured and the damage isn't too extensive - the pill obviously just aids that process dialysis is an artificial aid to help kidneys perform functions they can no longer do, but there was nothing in that scene that suggested the woman's kidney was COMPLETELY gone
alex: garak always had the worst timing from what i've read about him...and apparently that holds true *he mutters as the environment collapses into the yellow and black checkered pattern of an inactive holodeck, along with his molten silver trenchcoat/trouser combo*
(i distinctly seem to recall an earlier scene where matt DID in fact pull a fatman TNC out of his pants - or at least joked about it also, what happened to garak contacting whoever once we got to the castle?) alex: it's not near anything reproductive...it's in a subspace pocket
*the group eventually arrives at the castle* so, let's see if it's any less defended than it was when i was here earlier...*the lupine mutters as he refocuses his eyes on the ramparts*
there's also Approaching Agony, one of the best phaser boosting consoles you can get for (relatively) cheap and the clicky is one of the few rare ones that's actually decent, especially on a full phaser build combined with something that can keep targets clustered together, because the hazard it spawns persists through the…
alex: personal issues shouldn't be showing themselves in a public venue anyway - they're called PERSONAL issues for a reason and no...the castle looked abandoned - there were no sentries on the walls, no guards at the drawbridge - which was raised - and not even so much as a moat with half-starved alligators in it
alex: can we get moving now?! we can accelerate time as much as we want in a holodeck to cover entire days of play within the span of a few hours, but those hours are still ticking away in reality!
engineers need something for themselves like tyler's duality or that shield weakening buff on the #Silly4Tilly shield - something that gives some nice damage for doing engineer things
