This. And indeed there are some minority of people who are taking the critiquing way too far, but I've witnessed at least as many jumping to defend just as enthusiastically.

They still haven't put the skills invalid in any of the patch notes, so good luck with them mentioning the phasers.

Well, back to the topic, I will say at least this non-answer puts to bed the idea that CBS is responsible for these kinds of decisions, and that it's actually all on Cryptic.

Um, there has been no actual official announcement of it on anything so far, from what I've seen, only a private acknowledgment that was published on a public forum by the player. They said they'd work on them when AoD was finished, then after the Anniversary. So, if they're now saying it's not gonna happen until post-AoK, it definitely has me thinking we're not gonna get them back. Which sucks, 'cause I always liked the Kuvah'Magh story, and it sucks that interactive Spock is no longer with us.
