Ugh, totally. Getting to this point in the mission on my old computer stopped my enjoyment dead. Granted, that old beast would sometimes take 10 minutes for the new DS9 to render when ViL dropped.
While trying to play around with the fancy new Klingon outfits, I notice even this work around doesn't seem to be working for any of my older Klingon characters' BoFFs
I mean, it'd be nice if we were given the option to turn them off, so for those of us who want to use the set but not spawn the dancing Elachi we could, while not ruining the fun of those folks who do like 'em. Oh well
I'm honestly surprised this hasn't just been thrown into the FCT pit, along side other things they want us to forgets, like Foundry, exploration, in-game calendars that were more accurate than the CM...
That's really my main frustration about the whole deal. Well, that and some closure for the whole B'Vat story (you know, the very first arc in the game (Fed wise)). And don't everyone get me wrong, those missions looked rough. But so, too, did the Klingon starter episodes that got revised for the YoK, yet they didn't pull…
Kael (and the rest of the team) say many things. You'll have to excuse me for having, at this point, a very difficult time taking the development team at their word. In this case, they've been saying it for over 2.5 years. If they wanted to revamp the rest of the Klingon stuff first, they should have left the episodes in…
I just gotta chime in here and say, tho I have no problems with the ships stats as they were (mainly, greedily, as I have no desire to get this overpriced bundle of digits). But I do have a major problem with a forum moderator who accuses people of gatekeeping and then gatekeeps their convo by editing every post out of the…
Wonder what's coming up next that'll take their time away from doing the revamps? Let's be clear, they mention wanting to work on them in the same vague manner they use when, say, they're talking about a T6 Nova. So, expect them gone for good.
Maybe they're still holding off, and will surprise us by adding that 3rd episode they said was coming with the Anniversary to the bundle, to justify the cost? :/
Of course it would! Where've you been these last couple of years, where most of the new content's been spawning waves of enemies on (often hidden) timers to pad things out? That's called quality story telling! :disappointed:
It'd be nice if there was a feature to just turn them off if you wanted to. I'd have no problems with them in social zones if they were, say, like the party amplifier, and entirely voluntary. I suspect we'd see way less of the Elachi in social zones if that were the case. Too bad, it's a decent set.
1 - The return of those Klingon War episodes they removed 'for remastering' over two years ago 2 - Some basic level of communication from Cryptic to their players That's it.
Totally agree! Especially as they're demonstrating with this Year of Klingon that they don't need to remove missions until they're done revamping them. Incidentally, does anyone have any of these old (possibly removed entirely) Klingon War missions available to share? I have the Cardassian and Romulan, hear rumour a…
Between the lack of communication to the player base, and the way they've keep breaking content, while releasing grossly overpriced digital items, all signs point to yes, the moment the game stops making its profit margins, it'll be gone. Likely sooner than later. I ain't meaning to sound all DOOM here, it's just a very…
