OOC: Yeah, he'd still have a heart beat. Even if it was only one every minute, there would be a heart beat. Otherwise, he'd be in danger of losing brain and muscle cells by the trillions.

OOC: Technically, just stopping the heart wouldn't induce suspended animation. You would need the cryogenic temperatures to actually get it there. He could be in a coma, at which point there would be a faint heart beat.
