LOL and I thought I may have been alone in that. For years I have insured to level my new toons above the requirement so I could simply 'Skip, skip, skip" through that whole story arc.

I will add to this as well. I am in SC on east coast. I logged on at about 1 am EST and experienced bad lag, discons and rubber-banding in STFs, sitting in space and standing on dock. STF team-mates dropping like flies...and not to the borg :0 Some made it back in and some did not. Maint will be very welcome today.

heh, has anyone actually been able to log into the game to claim it yet? I am currently on my 15th attempt, but issues began a few hours ago...but now i cannot load a character. I am guessing thursday's maint outta be real fun afterward :(

This same thing began for me today as well, and I do not use ARC. I was even in an STF and could never leave the spawn area, was invisible and could not interact with anything. However, I was able to use tab to select targets and selected a nanite sphere that got close...although its name was in code something like…

I just noticed that it blows right by the patch server stuff and directly into the Engage button...so that may be it.

It is never a good idea to break into your grandparents' basement to steal their old hardware to run and host an MMO...nor is it wise to hire your neighbors from the trailor park to put it all together :O

Same, all was doing fine until a few mins ago for me. Transporting into ds9 and waited for 400+ secs before ending the process and restarting...now cannot get past the loading chars screen.

The server timeouts that plagued me until they fixed 'something' last night are virtually gone. However now, I keep abruptly seeing my desktop without warning or any obvious repeatable cause. Nope, I am in Spartanburg, SC using Charter isp. My tracert is great, nettest not working well exactly as sirrunon posted above with timeouts. All i get now when launching game is a blank launcher white screen saying only "Loading. Please wait" lol
