Actually, he does sell you another one, but that's the whole point - he sells it to you, he won't give you it for free. (Alas, the Class F is actually a Z-Store shuttle, so that one costs Zen!) If you dismiss the free shuttle from any source, you have to actually buy a replacement. This applies to the free shuttle you get…
The TOS starfleet tutorial gives you a token to claim a Class F shuttle which you must claim during that first visit to ESD in the 23rd century. If you do not claim that shuttle, you forego the free shuttle and must buy it.
Recharge Speed and Cooldown Time are not the same. The amount of recharge a skill needs is always the same, but increasing the speed of recharge will reduce the cooldown time. The phrasing of the tooltip is technically correct, if not the easiest way to understand. There's items in the game with tooltips giving percentages…
Sounds more like a shield visual is over-writing your choice of skin. Check the "Visuals" tab, or right-click your equipped shield and choose 'Disable Visuals'. If that doesn't fix it, please share some screenshots of your ship, the equipment, and your attempts to apply the skin in the ship customizer - that way, we get to…
For kills to count, they must happen within the time for the "Ambush" buff from decloaking. By default, this is only the first 5 seconds after decloaking. There's 2 ways to improve this:* Increase the duration of your 'Ambush'; and * Increase your damage. Much is already said about increasing damage - using a ship with…
Glad to have been able to help. Much as I'd love to have a job working on one of my favourite games, I'd probably have to relocate... I do appreciate the sentiment however.
The GM's over at Support will do a great job at finding any problems you have with your account/characters and fixing them but when it comes to how the game works, you're best to ask your fellow players.
The recharge speed is increased by 50%, not the cooldown time reduced by 50%. The way the percentages and fractions work, this reduces the cooldown time by 40 seconds. If S is the recharge speed, then we can equate that to "Recharge ÷ 2 minutes" Thus, S = R÷2 and so R = 2S With the console, we have "1·5 × S = Recharge ÷…
Not just the Pioneer, but quite a few bridges have issues with NPC's sitting on the floor instead of their chairs. I've said this before, but I believe this is because the game 'floor' was lowered at some stage. Thus, the NPC's that used to sit in their chairs, now appear to be sitting on/in the floor. They are still…
There's a great observation. I believe the maximum Reroll Tokens you can have is 50, so if you already have 50 you won't be able to open the box. (This is how the game prevents you from 'losing' on rewards.)
And did you use an energy firing mode, or did ETM trigger it as a bonus? This is not the only trait that does this sort of thing and bonus triggers do not count on the other relevant doff abilities either. You may not like it, but that's just the way the game works.
Must be a really old character?. . A few years ago, the Promotion missions were all changed so that they didn't need returning to your faction 'home' unless you were also being given a new ship. This one is asking you to return home, which would be from before the change. The mission is outdated and only the folks over at…
It's annoying that the current bugs around stuff not showing in the game is present. However, this thread didn't need a new post given it's age. It was nice to see this though, and see that the mission storyline has been resolved.
I'm not sure it's the TFO's becoming easier, but that our ships & characters are becoming that little bit more powerful with each new bit of equipment made available. e.g. Equip that new Pahvo set on a Shuttle and you'll be getting a much bigger damage boost than any other energy-type.
If I recall correctly, the "U.S.S." prefix was explained in an episode of TOS but I don't recall which. I'm inclined to think 'Tomorrow Is Yesterday', but I'm not even close to 50% certainty...
Do you have them in your "Available" tab of the mission journal? ("Incoming Hails" on Console.) If you're feeling up to it, screenshot/video your Mission Journal & Available tabs and I'll try and figure things out for you.
I was training Bridge Officers myself just a few hours ago and I had no issues. You do have the Training Manuals in your Inventory, and not the Bank, don't you?
Are you absolutely certain you purchased the "T4 Exploration Cruiser Refit", or could it have been the "T5 Exploration Cruiser Retrofit"? Additionally, have you still got the ship in your Roster/Drydock? If you've discharged it, the game is likely acting correctly as you don't own the Venture skin any more.
