Bump, Borticus said in-game a couple weeks ago that he was going to point this issue to the correct dev/artist to get sorted...any word on this? Seems like it would be a quick fix... :)
Wow, really ? After years of BFAW being broken (not critting, accuracy overflow not affecting it, etc.) it's finally made it's way to "basically working as intended" and instead of whining for other weapons/abilities to be comparatively normalized, you guys want to mow down BFAW to broken status again (or worse, as from…
Sure, but it's still a "nerf" in the form that if you already use BFaW, it's going to be a damage reduction, since BFaW already procced correctly with the embassy consoles. BFaW cruisers and the like will have a DPS drop. That said, please bring back the crits sooner than later. :) Good to hear it's being fixed for cannons…
BUMP for publicity. Also, this has been around since FEBRUARY? Come on Cryptic, get on it! :( http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#/discussion/1208482/vastam-tactical-command-battlecruiser-t6-has-missing-warp-trail
Engi pilot ship (kitbashed from the Fed pack; might pick up the KDF pack during black friday sale too, depending on cost). I've nearly forgotten that I even have any other ships - that's how fun it is (also, mouse-flying Escorts increases fun factor x5). Throw in Lock Trajectory for the full-on Viper Mk. II experience,…
This is important. As I did in fact again watch the two-part Krenim mini-series of Voyager just last week, it should be said that it was never called a dreadnought in the show. This is something that Cryptic labeled it as for the game, so it could be classified as something (and not just magic space wizard ship), and given…
Correct. People are blowing the whole "OMG ALIEN GETS TWO EXTRA TRAITS!!11one" thing out of proportion. Aliens always had +1 extra selectable trait - the tradeoff is that they have no innate trait to begin with. Since Cryptic is finally dividing the space and ground traits, it only makes sense (and is the only fair way) to…
It's really a moot point. The "Kemo Lag" isn't caused (usually) by a user's video card not being the 'latest and greatest.' It's due to the immense number of calculations being done all at once because of the ridiculous (read: broken) number of AoE procs going off at once. When that is fixed, the "lag" (which isn't really…
The design was probably like that due to the equipment necessary to fire the "temporal beam" or whatever they refer to it as in Voyager. Also, the ship was never really meant for combat, per se. It basically sat in it's own dimension until Chakotay/Paris forcefully brought it back into the "Prime" dimension/timeline (or…
Alas, you can input codes from right here on the website. Betcha wish you donated now! ;) I play via Steam, and this is the method I used to acquire all of the goodies including Leeta and the T6 bundle. EDIT: You can still donate and receive a Leeta, as the drive is still going on. However, the T6 bundle is sold out.
I don't see the "low-fidelity" versions as being much less polygon intensive. Certainly nothing that will impact anyone's performance should they update those to the "high-fidelity" models shown, even if they play on a toaster. Nitpicky perhaps, but I can understand the point here. There is no reason to have both a low and…
Don't expect miracles... From Reddit: STOCrypticRockSystems - Design Monkey, 4 points 2 hours ago "Innocuous's Crit Severity is being lowered to 1.5%, to bring it in line with other crit severity enhancing traits." That was quick! :D
Welcome to MMOs. Things change. Also, it helps not to build around an extremely broken and OP ability. Those almost always get changed, sooner or later.
Thanks, because I really haven't figured that out by now...lol. What would I do without you guys. And just for the record, this comes from my bug thread in the bug forum on this topic:
The only thing I don't understand is why a few of you keep posting misinformation - repeatedly. You are wrong. It is a bug. Do you see the above post where the Bug Hunter says it's a confirmed bug, and it's been reported (again)? How about the reddit thread about it (here), where everyone else "gets it" and nobody is…
Yes it is it bug. As said above, it has already been noted by the bug hunters to communicate with the dev team. Nothing on the T3 Research sub-holding lists anything about Krenim bridge officers. Research sub-holding only unlocks the DUTY officers. I don't know why some of you guys are having so much trouble understanding…
That is NOT how it supposed to work. That is the entire issue. Getting Development to T3 is supposed to unlock Krenim BOFFs for purchase. They have absolutely nothing to do with the Research sub-holding, and yet the game is requiring a T3 Research sub-holding because "reasons." Anyways, I can't make it any more cut-and-dry…
Well, yeah, NOW we know that... The problem with that is, that we would not have wasted several weeks and hundreds of thousands of dilithium, fleet marks, etc., if we knew that we were leveling the "wrong" sub-holding. There is no way to know that it's not the right one. The game tells you it is the right one. Only when…
OK, let me try to make this is clear as I can for you...although I'm not sure why you are having trouble understanding what the issue is, as I've made it pretty obvious. In the screenshot, I have clearly drawn a big red circle around the Development sub-holding description that reads: New Provisioned Requisitions:…
Oh yeah, sure, no problem! It'll only take at least another month and hundreds of thousands of dilithium, not to mention all of the other mats, for our small fleet to level up the "appropriate" sub-section of the Lab. I'm sure everyone in my small fleet will love spending all that extra time, grind, and materials re-doing…
We already ran the final project to unlock the t3 development stuff, and I was offline when it finished upgrading. I'm pretty pissed off about the mislabeling of this, considering the time and materials it took to get development up to t3 for the krenim boffs...i mean, seriously?!
FA was severely bugged with the S11 patch. See my post/image here: https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/3qhre3/its_not_just_you/ No map, all borg, and no rewards. Trust me, it's better that it's gone until it's patched because it's pointless to try to get flarks from a map that isn't awarding any due to bugs. ;)
