stoutes, thanks for the advice, it works now, beautifully. I suggest that this gets saved somewhere since I've seen people looking for a solution to this problem. IE10 has issues. :rolleyes: Time to fly around in my little ship.

I've followed your instructions to the letter(I never thought about disabling all the services on startup honestly, I was just cancelling them out as I went trying to find one that conflicted) but sadly it had no effect. I'm not sure if dumping my system specs from dxdiag would help in this case. Hmmm...I may just install…

Sadly, with the same error, I am not using Steam. Nor do I have any software that is known to conflict with the launcher.

Three months later I assume this still hasn't been resolved? I've searched the whole forum for a solution to no avail.

Okay let me rephrase that: I can't even get the launcher to start up! Therefore no updating, so no playing. :|

Last year(the last time I had enough time to play it) it worked beautifully, no errors, lag, had no complaints. Now on a fresh windows installation on that same computer I can't even…
