If it was a set number of spawns, that the triggered the boss, I'd log in and play it, it'd be worth doing and fighting hard. As it's probably 'timegated' again I'm not going to bother. I'm not saying that I think they should do everything the way I'd like, it's just the way there doing everything at the moment, I don't…
So, thousands of hours of mini games and around $2000 - $3000 in cash (or grinding hours equivalent) for access to some minor trinkets that probably won't improve your performance much. I wonder how many lock box ships you could buy off the exchange for the same investment? - One for everyone in your fleet perhaps?

The new holding is, what it was designed to be, the biggest 'dil sink' ever. It's 5 tiers not 3 so that it can suck the dilithium out of the game for two or three times longer - that's the only reason. This all, presumably, to counter how ridiculously easy Cryptic made it to 'max out' dilithium production with the…

Dranurr Gauntlet was boring, just flying round for far too long shooting down endless wave of ships that hardly shot back. All for Lukari marks I don't need. Why?
Mini games are truly truly awful, The 'dil' and resources cost are astronomical, 5 tiers is way too long for a holding, None of the rewards look worthwhile, And, probably, impossible for a small fleet anyway. As a small fleet, it's a non-starter.
Mini games are truly truly awful, The 'dil' and resources cost are astronomical, 5 tiers is way too long for a holding, None of the rewards are worthwhile, And, probably, impossible for a small fleet anyway. So: "No thank you Cryptic, please try again! "
Is there a theme running here? First they reduce the dps (while upping the AI damage), then a specialization good for 'tanking', throw in a 'takes forever' defence orientated holding. All this on top of numerous time gated missions, I think they just want us to spend more and more hours doing all the things we used to…
On my third go through it, missed different things each time. I would suggest that everyone does this on Tribble first. Even with just one character I'm getting a feel for how each of the others needs to be done.
When it happens I'm gonna take a nice break until: a) there are free respecs, or b) 3rd party software is good enough to plan all my builds in advance, or c) enough build have been tested and posted for me to copy. Not even having a confirm button (like we have now) just seems totally crazy to me.
Played the map yesterday, for the second time in my life; and the last. I'm glad some people like it, but I won't be joining them. I didn't have any problems finishing it, it's just not much fun and takes way too long. No reward is worth playing something you don't enjoy. It's a shame they choose this one as I'm feeling a…
Just dropped all my Torpedo Spreads and replaced them all with Beam Fire at Will. Wow! My DPS has doubled, this is amazing! I can't believe no one told me about it earlier. Thanks Cryptic, and I don't even have to think about anything anymore, all my ships are the same now. Where's my wallet? I so need some more identical…
Had a lot of fun the last few months exploring different torpedo builds, my favourite ship to play, a heavy escort carrier, is completely screwed; a couple of others could switch to HY as they have GW. All my other mains are swapping out the neutronics/QTPs for more beams. This nerf is such 'death to variety', now it's…
They have pulled the old ships because of how useful they are in the admiralty system. If it wasn't for that, they would be still available each year. Sad for those who would actually like to fly them or use the full console set, but understandable considering how high the admiralty rewards can be with a large number of…
The tour mission drop rate does seem to have slowed down this last week. The first week, I was surprised how fast my Feds were progressing, l guess, they were too, and have now throttled it back to what they think it should be. I can't complain, across a number of alts, all the Admiralty rewards are huge.
I'd be happier to loose the AOE on all TSs, if that's the problem; I don't want TS to be a smaller HY, with a just few extra torps heading off at side targets.
Ok, I an understand reducing the damage of the AOE stacking, but its just dumb to limit the effects to 'the main target'. Loose the AOE on everything other than HY if you must, reduce the damage/effects if you must, but a spread should affect every target it spreads to. We don't need TS to do more damage on one target,…
Last night I had a 6 minute wait, a 5 minute wait the night before, averaging about 3 minutes. So for 7 toons over 14 nights, that's a lot of hours getting very bored! Best match, was the one where 2 guys dropped out at the very start, only a 2 minute wait that time. One of the things I love about "The Cure", the better…
