  • Some people actually like modifying the sliders... I am one of them. Plus, the default bodies aren't always aesthetically pleasing, especially on Bridge Officers.
  • Well now... that just doesn't seem fair... PC also had a nearly 24 hour long maintenance... in fact PC's was longer than the one for PS4 and X-Box...
  • no... I meant you could use the 8th year anniversaries vouchers to finish the 7th year event... not that you can take the 7th year vouchers and try to use them on the 8th year event... that would never work.
  • I agree, that was mostly unecessary. Additionally, a female characters boob slider being set to max does not always by default make the character attractive, and in actuallity the boob slider actually only increases the cupsize, not the bustline, for that you need the chest slider. There is actually a whole art to making…
  • Apparently there is some sort of option that allows you to use the 8th Anniversary Vouchers for the 7th Anniversary event if you still have the 7th Anniversary Event in your Reputation tracker when the 8th Anniversary Event starts... or something like that.
  • Well this is mildly disappointing. By the time this is concluded I won't want to play anymore, in favor of writing... nuts.
  • http://sto.gamepedia.com/Playable_starship This article details all the various types of ships on each of the factions as well as the universal types of ships usually found in lock boxes and events. * Type of Ships and Type of Seating: * Cruiser-Type Ships (Generally Engineering Heavy Seating): Cruisers / Battle Cruisers /…
  • like I said, not that I am aware of. The closest you can probably come is by completing one of the STF events on the KDF side that takes place on Earth Space Dock, but I am not sure which one that is, or if it is a ground or space STF...
  • Not to my knowledge... well at least not outside of very specific lock box ships at any rate. That said, if you are willing to spend 6.00 USD you can buy the Klingon Playable Species for the Federation. While that doesn't unlock the ships, it does let you access the species at the very least.
  • What exactly is it that you are wanting to know about the various ship types? Your question as it is currently is kind of vague.
  • Just typing in the words "Promotional - Research" into the search prompt and doing absolutely nothing else should bring the item up when you activate the search.
  • @madizmone ah, I wasn't aware of those...
  • The ones that usually show up outside of the Sol System are usually there because someone has activated their [Azura Personal Comm Code] device. This is an item that can be obtained from the Federation Mission "Stranded In Space." The Romulan and Klingon equivalents can be obtained from the Missions "The Helix" and…
  • a battleship or 'ship of the line' in Naval Terms are by definition "Cruisers" they are not however generally Carriers, as those tend to be far more massive ships (think the Atrox Carrier, which is vastly more massive than most of the Dreadnoughts). The closest ship in another series to what I would classify as a…
  • It really doesn't. Though there are reasons for why character gender might matter in some games... such as Perfect World International where the Venomancer (female) and Berserker (male) classes are gender locked. And before people rag on me for mentioning another game... I think I am safe as Perfect World International is…
  • There are female players who play female characters, but the odds of actually tracking them down is remarkably low, and they probably won't openly advertise the fact outside of their Fleet Voice Server or something to that effect. I personally try to have a notice indicating that I am indeed a guy on most if not ALL of my…
  • The main difference between the KIW and Fleet Mat'ha is going to be in their Bridge Officer and Console Layouts... The Fleet Mat'ha has the following Bridge Officer Layout: Commander Tactical Lieutenant Tactical Lieutenant Commander Engineering Lieutenant Science / Intel Lieutenant Engineering It's Console Layout is as…
  • I already have a Lifetime Sub from a few Christmases ago.
  • What I would do in that case is have the Tribbles be in your inventory, and only equip them when you know their cooldown is up.
  • Unlikely... and since they can be used once every hour, your best bet is to have them on your character as they are likely to come off cooldown when your not in an area that you have whatever NPC they are equipped to available to you. The IDIC Tribble on the other hand, yes you do get that buff if it is equipped to an NPC.
  • I would point out that the Baltim only has one Aft Weapon, as such it can only hold a single Omni Beam Bank. If you are really going to shell out the Energy Credits to purchase a ship like that, I would suggest seeing if you can't get the Krenim Imperium Warship instead as it has a 5/3 Weapon Layout that allows you to run…
  • I would go Dual Beam Bank, mainly because Fire At Will is considered to be the best Tactical Bridge Officer ability at the current time.
  • Of the ones I listed I would use the Fleet Mat'Ha Raptor [T6] as it has a Lieutenant Science/Intel seat that you can use to run 2x Override Subsystem Safeties which is considered virtually essential, while also having a Universal Lieutenant slot so you can still run Hazard Emitters and Science Team or Transfer Shield…
  • If @seraphinegirl is unwilling to spend the money on Zen, I doubt she is willing to spend the money on a subscription, monthly or otherwise. And without that, the Vet ship is probably out of reach.
  • That is a very good list, @noroblad , but not necessarily the only viable list.
  • You probably would still have to spend Zen (or at least an inordinate amount of Energy Credits) to purchase a Fleet ship due to the need to utilize Fleet Ship Modules in order to purchase them. Most Fleet Ships cost somewhere between 4 to 5 Fleet Ship Modules, though a handful cost 1 Fleet Ship Module. Fleet Ship Modules…
  • It may not be game-breaking, but it sure is annoying as all heck.
  • DBB's are invariably going to do more damage than DHC's. This is because DBB's gain access to the wonderful skill known as Fire at Will. As far as KDF ships go, the Pilot Escorts are generally going to be the cheapest option for high DPS ships, as they have five forward weapons and some pretty nifty inbound abilities that…
  • What exactly is the Operational Support Team, and do they have the ability to get bugs fixed?
  • Well... perhaps if more people complain about it, either here or in support tickets, they might be forced to bump it up in the priority list.
