I'm having the same issue with the Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate looping whilst trying to update the launcher. I have killed all process linked to STO and Cryptic, restarted the computer, restarted the router, and tried a different computer. None of these things have resolved the issue.

I am now having this issue, or one very similar too it. For me it started after the 12/16/20 patch. For me the game crashes every time, I am able to select my character, and either just before, or as soon as the map loads in, the game crashes.

Just got the AFK penalty bug. Did have the backpack on and collected and upgraded all three parts of the model.

I have had this problem as well, and if it is because the mission had started, then it had started before I even beamed onto the map.

I have the same issue but with an engineering captain, after dealing with the Worigul mob I get exactly the same experiance as above.

Ok, given that we will have to use Arc at some point in the future here is my input.
