I kinda agree that the development has been slow and inconsistent. I miss the era of big expansions. Delta Rising, Victory is Life, Legacy of Romulus, etc. Instead we get a mission or two every 6 months. As much as the Patrols in Delta Rising were annoying, it actually helped a lot having to work to level up and unlocking…
(The forum ate my original post so here I try again but it probably won't be as good as the original.) What I really dislike about Disc is all the arbitrary large scale threats which utterly ruin my suspension of disbelief. You could have used the Omega molecule for the Burn, but instead you decided to have some random kid…
The worst part is, that an Omega detonation would have achieved a similar effect without introducing something crazy. ST-D has just taken things to levels where my immersion and belief is ruined. The whole Mycelial network connected across all universes where if a single universe does something shady it could kill all…
My only problem with this is that I've heard there will be more missions in the past. I don't want to play more simulations, I want to continue my character's story in the present, even if it's dealing with a rogue odd Klingon.
I always hated how my Romulan can't use Fed uniforms. I was hoping the Jemmies having access to Fed uniforms meant an end to this silly practice...It seems not. And removing most cross-faction sets is just...Blergh. I just wish they'd give us Vorta.
The problem with Tovan Khev was that he couldn't be renamed, he didn't have the best stats and such. If they made generic voice overs for boffs, it'd be far less of a problem. The last episode of the expansion did this well by having our boffs be part of the story.
You can't do Changelings justice with the game's limited mechanics, Vorta however, are strategists/scientists/doctors/administrators and they're in charge of commanding Jem'hadars and such. Vorta should definitely have been an option. Imagine having a Vorta captain with a Jem'hadar first as your first officer.
When I first started on this game I was really disappointed to find out Romulans would be locked into using Warbirds. I rebelled against that, I wanted to fly a D'kyr. I refused to use Warbirds and instead opted to use a T4.5 Intrepid, that I later updated to a Tier 5 Ambassador when that was made available. The fact that…
Fed Rommies CAN play the missions, they can't accept them, but if they're in a part with a fed member and they do the mission, they'll get the accolades when doing the mission.
There's many options on who it could be. I personally really hope it's something Gamma Quadrant related because I'd like to explore it and have a Gamma quadrant expansion, just like how we had a Delta quardrant one.
I also support this, but I hope it can be expanded to include shuttles too. I have the Tal'kyr shuttle and the Federation shuttle runabout bridge doesn't fit at all. But the Romulan shuttle bridge would be much more fitting for a Vulcan shuttle.
In the new Galorndon core mission the female Romulans have helmets. However playable female Romulans are unable to use helmets, the helmets are only available for males, can this please be fixed?
They've done a good job at upgrading the TOS costumes, but a lot of badges, including the new TOS ones, are missing from most uniforms, like the Seven of Nine top.
I personally would love to fly the D'kyr, it'd be a perfect solution for Fed Sci Romulans- A gift from the Vulcans to reconcile, and a way for Romulans who wish to not focus on war but exploration and science. Unfortunately for now I have to fly my Ambassador. I don't like the design of Warbirds. (And my Vulcan boffs don't…
