23c Plasma torpedoes can count as different too, they don't get destructible high-yields instead they fire multiples like photons or quantums. As for a proton weapon set, yes please, been hoping for some since the Dyson rep launched.

Also using PlayOn Mac, patched fine, launched the game, got the cr4pdic cryptic screen, get a tiny amount of the grey bar start filling in and then it crashes. Er... when did that get changed then? I was under the impression that the shockwaves were only boosted by energy weapon damage, isn't that why your Boffs tell when it's in the absorption phase? Isn't that why Exotic damage and torpedo builds work so well against it?

The only forced part of the entire KDF Vs Federation war was the peace, which oddly enough doesn't stop either side from sending Duty Officers off to spy on each others fleet movements, take prisoners, raid armories and ship fitting stations.
