I would trash the Odyssey class starship because it's the least Star Trek looking ship on the whole game. It looks like one of those japanese rip off which is JUST similar enough to be confused with the genuine article, but JUST different enough to avoid copyright infringement.
I don't care what CBS says is canon. I only care about what the creators of the real Star Trek say is canon. The destruction of Romulus happens in Star Trek Countdown is a supplementary prequel to JJ Ambrams rebooted star trek. I don't care what Fat Cat Executives say to get you to go and see their films.
Wrong. The last canon film was Star Trek Nemesis. Romulus was not destroyed in Star Trek Nemesis. In the books (soft canon) Romulans split into two factions after the events of Nemesis: The Romulan Empire, which is ruled by Praetor Tal Aura from Romulus and the Imperial Romulan State which is ruled by Empress Donatra from…
STO already is the JJ Verse. The destruction of Romulus is a JJ Verse thing and if it's in STO then, thusly, we must be in the JJ Verse too. Just his 24th Century version from the Countdown Comics.
The problem is that people do not want to pay to for a vanity-species. They'd like an actual species with it's own unique features and faction. Eventually cryptic will have to realise that it's model of 'let's make them pay for everything' is TRIBBLE.
Alter the atmosphere to suit my race's requirements. Wait for everyone to die. Move in. Or if I just wanted the planet for raw resources and not to occupy: destroy the moon, let gravity do the rest.
This isn't true. The colours in the movies were: White = Command Gold = Operations (Engineering and Helm branch) Grey = Operations (Navigation/Astrometrics, Communications, Scientific Research and Technical) Light Green = Science & Medical Windsor (Dark) Green = Security Sky Blue = Special Services (Starfleet Branch) Dark…
Well it seems to me that they make their money from lockbox gamblers and overpriced ships. A penny-pusher would say there's no need to develop the game further if it's making money.
Metrics do not take into account human reasoning. Currently there is nothing to DO on the bridge and so no reason to use it. Sure you can walk around it, but that's all you can do.
One thing I would also like to say is an exchange program kind of scenario set in a ship interior where you have been assigned to another faction ship as an 'exchange program' kind of deal. Like in Sins of the Father in TNG.
Since we made peace with the Klingons in Season 9, there's no reason more co-op missions shouldn't be included in S10. The borg and undine missions could at least be made co-op.
Do the elite STF's (960 dill a time) and reputation assignments (140 - 1000 dil depending on the project) and you'll easily max out your 8k a day limit. Do the 'confiscate contraband' DOFF assignment, too.
The price of things you can buy for 'free' (that is using currency such a dil, energy and lobi) in this game is orientated so that you're encouraged to buy zen instead. That will never change.
You're welcome. Sadly cryptic are worse than Blizzard. Most cryptic products play like Closed Betas even after years of development. It's really bad, they're really bad.
The Sheliak could be an interesting one. And honestly there's nobody in the Delta Quadrant after the Borg who pose any sort of threat. The Krenim were reduced to a pre-warp civilisation, the Kazon are far too stupid, etc. etc. One thing that could be done is exploring the race that Armus (the black goo creature who…
Yeah, I guess you're right. S10 could be about adjusting to the end of the war, with criminals and pirates taking advantage of certain situations that the player has to deal with. But I honestly think Cryptical will just pull the war trope on longer with the Iconians and the Undine.
