It can be disabled, it's just no longer obvious. You have to enable squadron loot feedback (even though it's on by default now, the box is unchecked), then turn it back off It broke a year or so ago when they added another option to the feedback
Well, that was unexpected. I'm not sure I like the idea of the game now being under Gearbox, given their history of somewhat dodgy practices Still, I guess it makes sense with the flop of the MTG game and the flop of Torchlight III
I have to say (from reading multiple comments) that if people seriously expect to buy $150 bundles from dilithium farming in this game, then the economy is broken and not because of cryptic, but because dilithium farming has gotten out of hand. I'm not begrudging f2p players, but c'mon, buying bundles? It's a bit different…
Hmmm, apparently 55 crew members were killed in the series, of which 40 had known shirt colours. 24 (60%) were wearing red shirts, compared to 9 in gold shirts, and 7 in blue shirts.[4] Most casualties were security personnel, whose uniform was red.[5]
Admiralty (and alts) is probably the biggest cause of dilithium inflation in the game. I can't imagine they would ever do anything to make admiralty even easier to farm
I've only done it once and didn't find it particularly challenging. Only died once when I went Leroy Jenkins towards the hangar doors. I pretty much just spammed by antiproton staff the whole time. Had the crystals but didn't use them or any of the other kits (I don't bother with ground so I don't know what most of them…
The main thing with playable Terrans is some sort of Terran recruitment event. If they intend to have recruit events happening regularly, they can't just keep using the old ones over and over,
The Fleet Gagarin/Shepherd and Inquiry are almost identical ships in terms of stats. The Inquiry is tougher, a little more maneuverable, but the only real difference is that the Inquiry has Intelligence secondary spec on its Lt. Commander sci station Both are big upgraders over the Arbiter
On the flip side, they went through all that trouble in making starships almost no one uses anymore because none of them were particularly good. The Legendary Miranda isn't very good, either, but it's decent enough that some people will choose to use it
I think the included 6x TOS boffs is something underrated. I was pleasantly surprised by them with the Legendary D7 pack. Especially nice how they are already trained in everything (basic), which frankly is something the game should consider for all BOFFs going forward. It makes the game much less of a hassle of having to…
As near as I can tell, the Romulans (as a faction) don't have a 5/3 MW ship. The Feds have the Gagarin, the Klingons the Qugh, the Jem Hadar have the Vanguard Warship, which isn't fully MW, but still pretty nice, since it's on the Lt. Com slot This was a perfect opportunity to give them one with the Legendary D'Deridex.…
I actually think they might have hurt things in the long run because they made it so much easier to upgrade gear, it made alts much more viable. No longer do you have to spend hours and hours crafting upgrades (and gathering salvaged technology). All you need is dil, and on a new character, that's plentiful because you get…
The Vengeance was by far the most popular lobi ship. I would be surprised people would get one when they (and lobi ships in general) are cheap on the exchange. I don't think we'll see too many more Universes because while it's big and distinctive looking (and an Enterprise), it's not a very good ship in game. We'll…
There are two types of Red Alert events, ones that last two weeks and those that last one week. The two week gives the upgrade token. However, as is normal, he copy and pasted the text but picked the wrong one (the two week one) instead of the one week one.
20 TFOs later, I finally saw my first (legendary) D'D during Peril Over Pahvlo. It blew up 3 times and couldn't turn to face enemies coming from the other direction while defending Gamma Looked nice, though. I just don't understand how it can be so bad. The Scimitar turns better, has a better weapons layout, better console…
I think dilithium is desirable, just not as much as zen But I strongly suspect the real culprit are Jemhadar characters. Letting people skip the leveling process and basically go straight to admiralty and reputation rewards I think the only real solution would be a daily account refining cap. Say 40,000. That would still…
Except it's closer to $80 (and that's on sale). If it were $70 I would probably get it. But the problem is that you can't just buy $78 worth of zen. You have to buy $50, then $20, then $10
Star Trek has had hundreds of novels and comics written, 50+ years of fan fiction. If the creative team can't come up with ideas, then it's their problem and they need new people.
True. I used to play a game that had a new mount every month (and every month it had slightly better stats) and the mount would be in a gamble box akin to our promo boxes. (OTOH, they could be traded, so there was a hand me down economy that we don't have here)
Great, but you aren't the audience for $120 Legendary Ship packs. Why spend that much on a terrible ship when you could just spend $30 for slightly more terrible ship? Oh, I'm sure people will buy it. But will they fly it. How often do you see a D'D in a TFO? I don't think I've ever seen one. That might change after this…
Baseball is easy to do, just re-do the textures I don't imagine we'll ever get more swimwear. More likely some of the skimpier outfits get removed or altered.
