Cryptic has been vague. I believe if you update the Fleet version that you already own with the current system, you'll be getting the Fleet version of T5U account-wide. I believe.

Business wise, I see the point... But systematically, their upgrades are a let down for most people that are paying subscribers (including me), and want to continue enjoying the game throughout the years without really having to worry about a fiasco like this.

I received all my Lobi ships, Lockbox ships, and special promotion as gifts. Some took one lockbox to open, others took 200, fair enough. I agree completely here. Calling cryptic names (albeit possibly true) won't solve the issue of making sure they get proper feedback into their hands. Let's be hopeful, in spite of the shadow of doubt that has already been cast over Cryptic.

As a paying player, I wouldn't mind this at all. Money isn't the issue, it's that some of my money I've invested has gone to waste. I think that the upgrades for Fleet and T5 C-Store ships will end up just getting you a Tier 5 Upgraded version, no difference between upgrading the C-Store or Fleet version.
