I click on the icons to launch the STO launcher, but it does not apepar on the screen. It does show it on the taskbar and quick launch, but the screen that shows to log in does not appear. I right click what appears on the taskbar and it just says move, minimize and close. I tried to minimize and then restore, but it still…
I've had this issue since launch, and ironically the items I can't see in some areas of the game are quite visible in others, most noticeably when it comes to pants and transparent doors, barriers
Having the same issue and whatever is causing problems for the game can be linked to the STO website and forums with error messages popping up when trying to go from one screen to another

Considering how so many elements Star Trek ripped off from Doctor Who over the decades I'm surprised it took them that long to do an official cross over. Then again, considering how Doctor Who buried Star Trek in 'Bang Bang A Boom' I'm not surprised :D
That neverwinter scrolling bar is good in theory... however I prefer the option of just opening my options menu and just clicking on and off when needed (often in crowded places... it's going to be MONTHS before I can fully enjoy Nimbus III on Holodeck :P )
The complaints you guys are making are simply idiotic... Would you rather this stuff happen nor or when LOR launches? (waits for reply) Yeah... that's what I thought, so chill out people
Speaking as someone from the low end of the video card spectrum... A lot of new textures look wonderful, that's a plus On the flip side... It is amazing that some things will never be fixed (Defera Systems 'blocky appearance' for example)
Well after some hemming and hawing I decided to go for it on the simple basis that I probably spend less on the c-store than the average player does. :D
I figured as much... thankfully I had enough numbers and stats to talk them into sending a tech out to check everything Which is more than what they are doing for other folks :(
So here are my numbers... anyone know what to make of them? Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6002] Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. I'm having a similar issue, and this all started late on Wednesday for me. I contacted my ISP, and after one moron said it was my computer's fault (which it is not because i'm having the same issue on an older PC and my PS3) finally someone their told me that the problem may be on their end.
As someone who has been burnt out on various fleets... I made the one I'm currently in tell me reasons why I should bother joining them. Basically act like a free agent in any major sport and have the teams 'sell' you why you should be affiliated with them while at the same time making sure to tell them how you play.
So basically... the Devs put something in that basically says 'Khazoff' to those of us towards the low end of the graphic card scale... ah well... at least I'm able to do everything else
Fleet Invites via PM I don't mind, cause at least I can say 'no thanks' Besides... I turned off nearly all the 'chat' channels in STO a year ago, you'd be amazed at how little people use 'Local' Either way, again thanks for the info
I played some of the outside and in the cave missions and I rather enjoyed them. The Tholians remind me of something from the original Doom game with their movements, which for me was hilarious.
