We already can "accidentally" donate R&D DOFFs with the white ones. However if that happens it is down to the player who is responsible to doiuble check what they are donating and remove the check next to the ones they don't want to donate.

Yet it is the zen purchases that pays for the game. If you get rid of the exchange and so the ability for people to change dil->zen it means less zen sales. Less zen sales means less money and less money means the game getting worse.

Erm yes they did. Someone had to buy that zen to sell on the exchange in the first place. No exchange would equal lower zen sales. THerefore indirectly ree players bring money to the game, just not from their own finances.

I think it is because we can't craft them. There is no "school" for them. We can craft everything else, so even the consoles we can't actually make are just classed as consoles for the upgrade system. If, and hopefully when, they add a kit and module crafting school we should then be able to upgrade them.

Last I remembered you do get the extra BOFF slots retroactively. Only the retrain tokens are not given. However the EC cap unlock is lost when you go from gold to silver, I think it is the only thing that is lost.

I was thinking that too. I don't own one but I don't think the Bort has one either. Do any of the KDF battlecruiser have a cloak? I don't know as I have never flown one, I prefer my Vo'Quv which I moved to from the flightdeck cruiser so used to not having a cloak on my KDF characters.

It could have been worse STO could have been done by the same numpties who mad WAR, the only game I have played that was mothballed a year or so after coming out and then shut down as soon as the liucense time was up.
