  • You're telling me! My bleach bottle has gone empty and my mind is still in the gutter. It just ain't right.
  • I don't why, but I'm just going to have to respond with this picture.
  • *SPOILERS* Actually, technically this is incorrect. If my memory serves me well, you're security (a security guard) for the colony of farmers. Nothing dictates that you are a planet born farmer. Indeed, there's even a conversation with a colonist which gives you the option to state that your background has origins which…
  • I've actually considered this myself and wonder if it's possible to just skip out on the story. As in, go from nine to fifty whilst grinding, just for the entire sake of neutrality. The only issue is if I'll be locked inside the Tau Dewa sector or would I be able to escape? I'm hoping for the latter, as it might offer the…
  • If you're running two graphics cards on your computer, switch the default to the higher one.
  • But my fabric discriminator says you aren't wearing any underwear! ;) It must be an hour fast. :D
  • I've got to say, I'm interested in this fleet- but the whole 'voice chat' idea always puts me off. Plus, I'm never too sure whether I'll participate in group activities, for I'm rather idiotic. As in: I wouldn't be too good with ship builds, 'statistics talk' or have knowledge of team play. But I do like talking to others,…
  • No doubt it's all about the metrics of marketing an evil faction, Center Solace. Although, if it was up to me, there'd be an option to choose between them. That'd be either with the Tal'Shiar/Klingons or the Reunificationists/Federation. Which seems logical on the whole to offer to a neutral party who's only new to things.…
  • *shoots Drogyn first* Trust me, he's not dead yet.
  • My Gorn Hodch does that on a daily basis, it's nothing special. And hell, the Romulan Republic player says that to Hakeev *ALL* of the time. Which makes it rather common place, so D'Tan is hardly unique.
  • Judging from a certain Vulcan admiral's view, some Vulcans are still distrustful of them.
  • I wish they chose someone else as a leader for the Romulan Republic. D'Tan feels so weak and inefficient, like a peace loving Federation sympathiser. What the Romulans needs is a stern, determined and independant leader.
  • "Any hints on what the next playable species we should expect for the Romulan Republic?" "Alien-Gen Hybrid options. What are they exactly?" "Were the Echali's machines somewhat influenced by the machines of The Matrix trilogy?" "Romulans can grow beards officially. So why no beard options in-game?"
  • Ah, right, well, I've actually been talking about STO canon- not official Star Trek canon. ;) Official Star Trek canon is a dirty subject which I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.
  • Well if that's the case, Legacy of Romulus is non-canon, since it borrows from novels. :P
  • Ah yes, I also shared this view untill I was blatantly reprimanded for it by fans. Anyway! Supposedly it's canon that the Proto-Vulcans which left split into two groups. One was for telepathy, the other against. The ones for were exiled and became the Remans. But the ones against continued on their way to become…
  • Honestly, it reminds me of the British Empire's colonies turning into 'amurica. You go from the stern, regal, intelligent Romulan Star Empire conservationalists- To well: Romulan Republicans. It just doesn't have that same amount of finesse. I suppose the change should be expected, what with their new stance on things. But…
  • I'm trying to be more serious gameplay wise about my build, but well, I'm more about fun. And it's quite difficult to try and replicate what people suggest you do with your starship. Not only are the costs immense, but the time ill spent are as well. It's almost like gambling. As far as right now, I'm just going…
  • Heh, I read this in The Doctor's voice. :D
  • It looks positive that they'll be playable female Remans in the live release. Now I'd doubt the Remans lay eggs, for they're more bat-like than anything. Which I'm more than sure give live birth to their young- not lay eggs like birds. Not to mention the Remans are cousins to the Romulans, who don't lay eggs. ;)
  • Now that is a difficult question to answer! Well, I'll give it a go at least. * Silik, once leader of the Cabal. * Kes, nurse of the U.S.S. Voyager. * Quark, owner of Deep Space Nine's bar. I'm not absolutely sure these are my best choices, but I suppose they'll do.
  • Resistance is futile.
  • You are now all hobbits. Come with me, we're going to Isengard.
  • Where's the 'medium' setting on this thing? Yes, it is better. Although you could use the spacebar to draw more eyes in. Now in my view: your idea has merit, but would require a lot of work.
  • Yes, at least if we *feel* like we've had a say, that's enough. Thanks for the reply though, it's nice to see some people are still active. Also, you'll have to excuse my late response- I've been distracted.
  • My gawd man, think of the children! ;)
  • Now funnily enough, this is also why I'll never play on my Federation characters. All I ever hear about the Defense Force from Starfleet members is just downright ridicule. It goes from insults, to silly remarks, to improbable statements like the one above. As mention, I've played with the Imperial Empire for quite some…
  • Since my observation or suggestion wasn't entirely noted in the forum- I'd like to punch it in here, if Fazemladaiya doesn't exactly mind at all: Interesting reviews by the way, keep up the good work everyone!
  • If my knowledge of the Foundry is any good, this is a bug and nothing more. When you choose a side, a flag is probably set to mark you as KDF for some things. That flag might punch in the wrong coordinates in some circumstances though. Which ends up with Romulans with Klingon faces, transwarp trails and transporter effects.
  • Yeah but they had the potential to have done a lot worse, remember that. They could of slaughtered the rebellious Gorn militia like targs to the slaughter. Although they didn't, in-fact, they offered them complete governmental integrity. Not to mention free reign of their assets- if, they help supply the Imperial Empire's…
