My Gorn Hodch does that on a daily basis, it's nothing special. And hell, the Romulan Republic player says that to Hakeev *ALL* of the time. Which makes it rather common place, so D'Tan is hardly unique.

I wish they chose someone else as a leader for the Romulan Republic. D'Tan feels so weak and inefficient, like a peace loving Federation sympathiser. What the Romulans needs is a stern, determined and independant leader.

It looks positive that they'll be playable female Remans in the live release. Now I'd doubt the Remans lay eggs, for they're more bat-like than anything. Which I'm more than sure give live birth to their young- not lay eggs like birds. Not to mention the Remans are cousins to the Romulans, who don't lay eggs. ;)

If my knowledge of the Foundry is any good, this is a bug and nothing more. When you choose a side, a flag is probably set to mark you as KDF for some things. That flag might punch in the wrong coordinates in some circumstances though. Which ends up with Romulans with Klingon faces, transwarp trails and transporter effects.
