So, go to your local hobby store and buy a d10. If it comes up on "0" (or whatever number(s) you want) destroy your item. Then you can have your high stakes without imposing your lil "hardcore" mindset on the rest of us.
Honestly, I can't say what caused mine to do this. I had logged out after playing for an hour or so earlier (Watching "Enterprise" and eating dinner)....and have been trying to get the update launcher going for the past hour and a half-2 hours. Tries to connect 5 times, then quits.
I agree 100% Lonnie. WTH did I just drop 35 bucks on this game. Weekly maintence? Great. A fix or 4 after the X-pac launch? Reasonable. Update launcher broken for hours on a Friday night, weeks after X-pac launch? Nope. I'm just glad I didn't "like" this game on facebook....all my friends would know what a pos I play.
Fugly? I always thought the D'Deridex was the best looking romulan ship, and my personal favorite from all of TNG/DS9/Voyager era. I can't wait until I'm level 50 so I can get my refit!
I liked it. It wasn't a classic like ST: V "The Final Frontier", but not a bad popcorn flick..... JK! pretty good movie, and better than V, Generations ST 09 and Insurrection at least.
I enjoyed the novel "Inception" by S.D. Perry and Britta Dennison. It shows a young Commander Kirk and Carol Marcus relationship (leading to David Kirk), plus a Spock/ Leila Kalomi relationship mentioned in a TOS episode. I'd say a must read for TOS fans. Probably one of the best new(er) Trek books out there. The old "log"…
I'd have to say that the last 2 ST movies have been miles better than the last 3 SW movies, so all in all I am happy. When you can get a group of people between ages 8 and 64 together and everyone ends up enjoy the movie, it is doing it's job. At least with JJ's Trek, the creator of the series himself didn't "ruin" the…
Most of the adults I know play video games of some form. The older ones typically go for Facebook games. Not great video games, but video games none the less. Not to mention that video games have been popular for over 30 years. You will see more and more older people into them. 35 myself and have no intentions of stopping.
STO actually has one of the most F2P friendly formulas I have seen. You can not spend a dime and still enjoy the entire game. Putting money into the game will just make things easier. You can always grind Dilithium and trade it for Zen for any cash shop stuff you want. That is a very slow process though.
